It's nothing special
It's okay. A bit underwhelming on grind output, takes a few more twists than it should. Made in China, not France. If it lasts many years I'll conclude that it was a good quality purchase, but I can't do that about a day after it's arrived and Amazon start pestering for a premature review. It looks nice in black. I have a lot of Le Creuset pans and pots and these a magnificent. I think I've strayed into buying for the label with the grinder and I always think it's tantamount to deception when a company markets it's heritage country and then subs its manufacturing to one that's known for being cheap.

Beautiful looking pepper mill
I was encouraged to buy this by a higher authority (my wife). Slow glad. I did, it works really well and looks good on the table. It has a solid feel but is not unduly heavy. The grind is slightly on the coarse side which I prefer. The grinder mechanism can be dismantled if it gets clogged. Many cheap pepper mills are fixed. All in all, pleased with the purchase and glad I was persuaded.

Best pepper mill ever
There is not much to add, it was bigger than expected but not over big. We've had many pepper mills over the years and this is proving to be the best ever. It wasn't cheap but it seems you get what you pay for in a pepper mill. We like the adjustable grind, its easy to set and the ceramic grinding bits seem very robust. Excellent and good value for money.
