Good Fan thusfar....dont expect any eye-candy packaging or any hint of directions.
I have been running this fan for about a week now. It keeps my case about 2-3 C cooler. Just know that this is a Very big fan. I bought it knowing this and actually have the fan mounted on the exterior of my XPS case. Also know that you must take great care when mounting the grill, the 4 plastic posts are very fragile and the screws were a little large and can actually split the post when tightening, but with some slight modification's I got it to work just fine---I had smaller screws. The red LED's are spot on, not overly bright, although the fan itself is clear plastic and I slapped it between two flat pieces of cardboard and spray painted the exterior ring flat black the keep the light from shining through.I wasn't expecting to receive the fan as quickly as I did, the seller & Amazon said it might take a little over a week, but I received it in 4 days. Had to order a 3 pin (female) to 4 pin molex adapter and a 4 pin spliter to hook up to my motherboard, so all told I spent about $45 for this upgrade. It does look kind of odd with the fan on the outside, but it does the job perfectly. This fan runs Very Quiet...Because I run computer intensive programs 24/7, my CPU fan is actually louder than this Rexflo. If I put my ear close to it I can hear the air from the room being blown inside...other than that...No obscene fan noise.About the only thing I can think of as a "con" is that the packaging wasn't the greatest in the world and there were absolutely no directions or information, no paperwork whatsoever that came with it....seriously, just a fan in a cardboard box...which leads me to believe that it wasn't new, but hey, I cant really prove that. I will just think twice about ordering from that particular store again "OutletPC" through Amazon.
