IS very large and roomy - for average person should reach below knee

I bought this for my sweetie for his birthday. He wanted a lightweight robe to wear during the summer. I was thinking about spending more because I wanted really good quality. I was very pleasantly surprised when this arrived and the fabric was really soft and the robe was well made.My honey really likes it. It washed great. He likes that it is oversized, but I think it looks a little large. He is 6'0" and 225 lbs and I think I could have gotten him the large. It goes to his knees.

I spend a lot of time at the spa and decided to buy my own robe. Imagine my astonishment when I took out the robe to find that it was covered in pills! It looked as if it had been laundered repeatedly. The fabric looks like some time of polyester. REAL spa robes are made of cotton, so that they can breathe and keep you comfortable. Don't waste your money.
