Well made and not cheap looking
I am very happy with these screens. I have 30 year old windows and have worn out or lost a few of my screens. These work perfectly for my smaller windows. They are easy to use and look good for what they are. Well made easily adjustable and I think they are going to hold up pretty well. They keep out the mosquitos and no-see-ems.

Best Portable Screen I’ve ever bought
Without a doubt, these screens blow away the competition. I was actually shocked at the superior quality. They are extremely well made. Compared to the flimsy well known brands, they are worth every penny.They do cost a bit more, but you won’t be throwing them in the garbage.They feature , heavy gauge aluminum frames and you can adjust them to horizontal or vertical applications.I bought 4 of them. Will be buying more soon.

A cut above the hardware store version
For some reason, most apartments in Manhattan (NYC) don't have screens, regardless of price-bracket.Annoying, used-to-be-a-lot-cheaper expandable screens from the hardware store are the recourse for many of us, especially if one doesn't want to or can't afford the astronomical cost of keeping air conditioning running all the time. But they are ugly, rickety, get dirty fast, and tend to rust.These are sturdier, tidy looking, and have pile weather stripping on the top and bottom to create a good seal with the window-frame and keep bugs out. Also, the mesh is painted with what looks like white enamel, which hopefully deters rust.Much better than what you get at the hardware store.

Screen at will!
I was able to pop these screens into the window frame and make a nice seal when I pulled the top sash down. Nice appearance, easy to pop in and out of your windows. We do not have screens on our windows here in the south because there are very few days you can live without the air conditioning, but for those couple hours where you are cleaning and want to bring in fresh air or just to air things out, these are wonderful!
