The variety of animals is nice. Colorful and fun. Can be used s backpack charms, ornaments or stung up as a banner. Purchased for my seven year old niece whoHo was in quarantine and she loved the kit . Made the fox first and did a great job.

This is a great easy introduction to sewing. All the child has to do is go back and forth through the premade holes. This was a little tricky for my 4 and 5 year olds but my 8 year olds were able to get the hang of it. Some of the animals have trickier shapes because the thread gets wrapped around their legs or tails as you are trying to sew them.Overall, we enjoyed this project and my kids were proud to show the stuffies they made to family and friends.I hope this review is helpful.

Mixed feelings about this set. First off each animal is individually packed, but they share the thread and needles (came three). So you won't be able to give them out as trick or treat stuffer (my bad for not thinking this through). Very easy to work with and brought my 7yo a lot of peace stitching away. Material is thin but stiff felt. Packaging was somewhat damaged and flimsy box making it possibly not a pleasing gift. I personally think they should have included a little more stuffing material. I had to supply some on my own ... If you like very puffy little animals like I do. Overall nice set for your budding seamstress. No harmful tool or difficult step for possible frustration. I only have to help with tying the thread.

I got this for my daughter, who loves to sew! This is probably under her level, but they're cute and I figured she would like them (she did), she loves woodland animals!They're very cute. It has everything it needs in the kit, even the felt has premade holes so they can easily sew them together. She's already made four, and gave a couple to her grandparents. The animals are a decent size too after being sewn together. I would say around 6" tall for some of the taller ones. I thought they would be a lot smaller! The felt pieces you put on top of what you sew (like the racoon details), have adhesive already on them, so no mess!
