Tried this card reader out this past weekend. Before I got in my stand I went and pulled my cards. The first card worked great no problems, pictures came up fast and clear. Plugged the second card in and the DCIM folder that should pop up with pictures (like the first one did) did not come up. Not sure what happened so I thought it might be the card not having the correct formatting for the device. So I plugged it into my laptop to view the pictures and make sure it had the correct format. Keep in mind that I bought both 16GB cards at same place and time and they were both the same brand. Even on the laptop the card did not come up with any pictures which I know for a fact the camera took a picture of me when I went to get it. It also had the correct formatting when I checked. Not blaming the card reader just yet. I will chalk it up to a fluke. Will try it again next week when I check my cards again. I have a Galaxy S7. I have heard that the Android operating system has a tougher time with card readers than the Iphones. Hope this is not the case.

Having trouble with mine. Can't swipe through pics and deletes my pics off my card when I remove card. I have not given up hope yet, It could be me! Im a bit technically challenged. But I usually figure things out. It works great looking at video from my adventure cam, and does not delete unless I want it to.

My husband loves the concept of this gadget, but it isn't working with his phone. He has a Samsung Galaxy S5 and it keeps saying it can't read the card. We have checked the format and it's correct. He has contacted manufacturer and hopefully they will help us out. Seems we aren't the only ones having the problem. It even wiped out 80+ photos from the card! He was very upset!

Works as advertised! All my cameras have built in viewing screens, but sometimes I want to just change out the card and get out of the area. This device allowed me to do just that, so I can switch cards and then review the pictures in camp on my phone or tablet.

Much faster than the previous model. No issues with deleting/reformating of any SD cards. I run 20+ cameras throughout the year with 5+ different brand/size SD cards. Absolutely love this product. Thicker cable is a great upgrade as that is why my older version broke (thin cable).

I would not recommend this product app for Android phone has made my phone to act. Suspicious and not ring at all and way to much junk on it I just uninstalled the app hopefully no harm will come from it
