No directions for removing the film - had to figure that out myself. The film with print still on it - brutal - doesn't want to come off but eventually it did. So you know, I purchased them for Feng Shui, not for birds. Reflective mirrors for the yard - and they are more than perfect. I suggest you advertise under that category also.

The large discs are a plus. I used them on my boat house to try and keep the birds from nesting in the rafters. They seem to have some effect but I still had the birds building nests. One reason may have been that one week after hanging them three were missing and had fallen into the water. The inferior quality swivels had broken. I removed the remaining swivels and hung them from a short section of small chain. Have not had a problem since. I ordered another set to see if I would get the desired effect with more hanging. I contacted the company about the swivels breaking and their response was; IS THERE WIND WHERE THEY HANG?

Assembly was a bit of a bear! Each one needed to be assembled which took some time (each disk on a key ring, then each hook on another key ring). Other than assembly, these were great at deterring birds to a certain extent (we have some fairly persistent birds, so it was not 100% effective.One thing to be cautious of is that the mirrors are highly reflective! We had them on trees on our hillside just above our house and when the sun was just about setting they would shine blinding light into our house. I also worried a little bit about a fire hazard with the sunlight reflecting off the mirror, but they are never still long enough to spark a fire (hopefully). I have taken them down though and they are all still very much intact after one season! Several fell on the ground and did not break or come apart.

Don't work-birds actually perched on them

So far, the repellent discs seem to be keeping the birds away from our windows. They do take some time to put together, especially peeling the film off both sides of each disc. I'm glad I read other reviews about being careful of the sharp edges. I put the discs together as four hanging units (four discs on each unit), hooked to the overhang on the eave above the windows. They still weren't long enough, so I added chain from the hardware store at the top of each. This was a lot of work, but the mess on the windows and screen was horrible and the little birds were probably injuring themselves. We had previously tried window stickers and yellow 'caution' tape (ugly) to no avail.

Very reflective and it doesn't distract from the golf course view the way a windsock does. The only negative is that the edges of the disks are VERY sharp and I cut myself trying to get the film off. They provide little stickies that are supposed to help remove the film but they don't help in the least. I suggest wearing a heavy glove on the hand that holds the disk while you try to remove the film.
