Scorned WomanHot Sauce, 5 fl oz

I discovered this sauce years ago and will admit that I was initially drawn to its humorous name. In my experience, there is not another sauce like it. First of all, it’s full of habanero, red, black, Tabasco and jalapeño peppers. An extra kick is added lots of lemon and a huge amount of black pepper. This is not for people who like mild sauces and “take a chance” ordering medium sauces. It is hot enough to require that you must always be careful with it! Scorned Woman is the very best sauce I have as a condiment to curries - it just seems to complete the flavors. If you encounter or buy it, go slow until you understand your tolerance and what your think it might be best for - like try a few drops on your plate to touch your food to at first. If you love and collect hot sauces, this one will become a staple!

Spicy and flavorful.But make sure you compare the pricing of the various vendors. Some charge 10 times as much.

This has been my go-to extra-hot hot sauce. But it isn't just over the top heat. It is well seasoned.

I first discovered scorned Woman at Disneyland (New Orleans Square) many, many years ago (before the internet was really a thing) and couldn't find it anywhere else. Imagine my shear delight when I thought to look for it online and found it!This hotsauce not only adds heat to your dish (begin with just a dash and build from there) but also a lot of flavor as well. It's what I loved about this sauce all those years ago and that still rings true. You won't regret this purchase!

The first time I had this sauce was when I was stationed in Puerto Rico. I liked it so much that I went back to the Post Exchange to buy more but they had sold out. This was about 10 years ago. I never forgot it and decided to look it up online last year and found it here on Amazon. I ordered 3 or 4 bottles. It seems they may have changed the recipe a tad as the sauce has a vinegary taste/smell that comes out or I just never noticed it but it didn't change my thoughts on this sauce. It has a great flavor and nice spice to it. I use it on all foods. Try a drop or two on top of your hard boiled egg instead of salt...the vinegar taste works great with eggs (if you like pickled eggs). Don't let me deter anyone from it because of the vinegar taste...it is still an awesome sauce. About to order some and have it shipped here to Afghanistan if I can. Try it out.

In the beginning (around the turn of the most recent century) the label spoke true stating 'Hell knows no fury like a woman scorned'; the sensitivity of todays "unique snowflakes" have done it again...

Good on fish, lamb, not for Mex or Tex mex. great on pork. Tiger sauce but hotter.

Years ago my husband bought a case of this Hot Sauce because of the name. He would give it as a gift. I opened a bottle and used it in a few recipes and it is awesome. I have a special salsa recipe that people ask me for and I tell them this is a must ingredient. Then when they tell me their's wasn't as good as mine and ask if I gave them the "real" recipe, I asked if they got Scorned Women. Of course they didn't and it makes all the difference. It taste like no other Hot Sauce I have had and actually has an great smokey flavor not just hot. I think I have to hand it out with the recipe, LOL. A little does go a long way. I have searched in every grocery store and never find it but was thrilled to find it on Amazon.
