This is a wonderful book -- filled with great information about the three "Genesis" Star Trek films.There are some fantastic images that I have not seen before, and even a gallery of cool posters from around the world.A great book to own ahead of Titan's Star Trek II book that is due for release in 2023.

Firstly the format, don't buy this book expecting your standard making of book, it comes in the format of an old 80s annual but without the amount of content to cover it off, the "making off" facts and production stories are just laid out in small almost bullet point info boxes aimed at a reading level nothing short of a five year old, for a Star Trek collector it offers nothing new and is something you would read in about 5 minutes or less, it really isn't worth the price tag.

Book was quick to read. I enjoyed the 50 facts about each of the movies. It would have helped if they added information on how the scenes were done on the navy yard and ships. This section of the book covering IV mostly focused on the whale scenes and some shooting in San Francisco. IV is loved by a lot of people I have heard from. Having bit more detail on all three movies II-IV to make book bigger would make it perfect as the hardcover book is small on first impression. It is full of color and pictures which are good.

As others have said, not much new to be found here for even most casual fans of the franchise. My gripes are mostly with inconsistent page layouts, baffling misattributions of quotes, and rampant / obvious editing mistakes.
