Be prepared. It states that it is gold colored and it is. Not brassy - bright gold. The detail and the work on the cutout it is simply beautiful. I thought at first the gold might be too bright, but I found the perfect spot for it with a wonderful picture and I love it. It looks as if it cost a lot more than It did - great value. I am quite happy with it.

BUT the finish is too gold, bright and shiny !!! To remedy this I used a small brush and Antique gold “Rub n Buff” and carefully painted the front of the frame and back. It is now a perfect frame for my “ Gibson Girl” great aunt!(

I purchased this frame for an older pic of my kids when they were young adults. I love their picture in this frame! It's a slightly brighter gold frame but it works well with their 1980s pic.

The design is beautiful but the finish is very cheap looking.

It's a perfect size, packaged nicely, and arrived quickly. I'm going to keep it, but it's so gold and bright, it looks cheesy! I'll put it in the back so it doesn't stand out so much. I like the details but wow, I'm glad it's not larger!

I bought this picture frame for my sister and she loved it. This frame was perfect for the picture I put in it. Now I’m looking for one in a 5x7. Hopefully they have one in this style. It was worth the money. I would recommend it. Thank you

Used this in my photos of ancestors collection. It is nice to have a smaller yet very pretty frame, because it makes the collection more interesting. I love my old relatives and love having pretty frames for them. Love this.
