Great for my motorcycle
I wanted a media controller while on my motorcycle. Had tried some of the cheaper options in the past, but invariably they would fail after a couple of months.I have got to say, I am delighted with this btc. The quality of construction is fantastic, very responsive controls even with gloves on. Waterproof aspect a must, and the mounting onto the handlebars is very cleverly concidered.Wish I'd got this years ago. Thumbs up.

Great for my bike trips or to operate my weird headphones
I got this little gadget mainly for two things. One is to use it during my bicycle trips and the other is to connect it to my small set of headphones when I'm out and about.Just to be clear - during both events I can control the music through my headphones. But there I only have one button to perform 5 or 6 different actions, which can sometimes be a struggle. I don't need to use this set in my car, which has Bluetooth built in and music controls on my steering wheel. I appreciate the convenience of having it in older cars though. The remote looks nice and is quite small. I find this to be a positive - the last thing I want is adding too much weight to my bike and having a huge device mounted to steering. It's also quite well built. Definitely resistant to drops, it's also waterproof IPX7. I'm not sure how resistant it is to dust and dirt as it doesn't appear to have been tested. The set comes with a few mounting options. They are mostly rubber bands which may feel a bit cheap, but still very effective. There is a strong magnetic base for the remote. It's great I can just pull the device out instead of dismounting the bands when I leave the bike.I noticed a lot of reviewers weren't happy with the size of buttons. It's clearly a case of personal taste and how you're using music controls in general. I have no issues with controls, I think they're big enough and clearly marked. It connected very easily for me. It pairs with your mobile, which is also paired with either your headphones or car speakers. All the controls are there and have a separate button (well the play button is also pause but it's generally the case). The call control is a cool feature. What's not cool is the lack of support for Android in this area. I hate when things only work on Apple products or only on Android ones. Each brand has an equally huge number of users…The Siri/Google Assistant support seems a bit much (talking to a remote feels really lazy). The device is very responsive, even when it goes into power saving mode. I could not see any delays when pressing any of the buttons. Finally the battery life promise is reassuring. 3 years is a long time.I really like this remote. It's like any item from Eono that I happened to have - simple, elegant and practical. I like the fact I can even fit it to my backpack's strap and operate my mobile. One lady mentioned that she prefers her Alexa Auto. True, cool device and it's only a few pounds more than this remote. But I can use it pretty much everywhere, while Alexa Auto is designed to work mainly with car systems. So I guess this little device is a winner. I'm happy to recommend it.Thank you for reading my review. I hope you found it helpful.

Tiny, very smart bit of kit
This is a teeny little device, even smaller than I expected, but really well presented and thought out. Rather than feeling like a budget item, it’s packaged like a ‘proper’ smartphone accessory, with individually bagged cables, a smart-looking mini manual and so on. It’s above-average for Bluetooth accessories for sure.Functionally, it’s great. In my old car that doesn’t have Bluetooth, having a way to pause or play my music, or change the volume, is a more than adequate replacement for not having those controls on the steering wheel where drivers of more modern cars are accustomed to find them. Pairing it with my phone was easy, and the most pleasant surprise is that despite being powered by a CR2032 battery which presumably spends most of its time asleep, even after time out of use, once you press a button, it is very quick to wake up and resume control- not quite seamless but much closer than I expected. If I could change one detail about the design, it’s the relative size of the buttons. The play-pause button and the answer call button are both quite small (even relative to the small size of the whole device), while the skip forward and skip back buttons, which I use far less if at all, are much bigger and easier to press. I expect most users would have found it easier if that were the other way around- or maybe I just don’t like skipping tracks as much as other people. The mounting options are primitive in a way- especially just rubber bands- but the device is so lightweight that there are loads of different ways you could mount it. Frankly if it weren’t for road vibration you could probably mount it with Blu-Tack, it would be that easy. There are 10 clear pages of instructions per language included in the little manual. Quite a few of these end up being iPhone-specific so Android users like myself have even less to read, but given the simplicity of the device, it still feels like slight overkill! Since I’m mainly just using this with Rocket Player for my driving tunes, the absence of any Siri special buttons is no great loss. The device comes with a CR2032 battery already fitted. As and when you need to change it, you’ll need a Philips-style screwdriver with a tiny head, which is the only relevant accessory that isn’t included in the box. Given the promised three years of battery life though, you shouldn’t need to worry about that for a while! It feels a bit harsh but I’m giving 4 stars for this device as a mini protest against the wrongly-sized buttons and the fact the play-pause button should have been bigger. But I’d have to admit that’s a very minor quibble to an otherwise very effective accessory that has managed to make my old car feel newer somehow.
