I bought this in 2014. When it runs, it runs great. Sometimes it is finicky with the types of pellets i use. I use the soft and sometimes the hard pellets. I buy the cheap and the expensive pellets too. I found out the best way to keep the auger from squeeling was to sift out the pellet dust using a 1/4 screen over a cardboard box. Otherwise the dust builds up on the auger and hopper and the squeeling is awful. I have had to replace several pieces and parts to this stove due to breakage, on my part, and due to quality of original parts. I like it a lot but the maintenance on this machine is the key. You need to follow the maintenance guide and clean the heck out of it as often as possible. I use the stove as my PRIMARY source as electricity is very expensive in NH. Overall, I like it but still cannot know what to compare it to as it is my first stove. Best Wishes.
