Great for baking
I followed the instructions and seasoned the pan before using and it's been great. I really like it for baking sourdough. My only complaint is that it is white and the picture looks more like a pink color. Not a big deal, but just seemed odd.

Size and shape
Dutch oven makes the bread round, but if you want nice loaf. This is the form that you want. I have been using it for 6 months or so.You will get perfect loaf every time.

Awesome for Sourdough Bread Baking
This pan makes an awesome French sourdough batard! Heat it covered in the oven for one hour, take your proofed dough from the fridge and immediately put it on parchment paper, lifting it into the hot pan. No cleaning and no sticking. I've made several whole wheat sourdough loaves in this pan, every one of them turned out perfectly! Of course, you must have a very live starter for this to happen. But the pan definitely helps.

So far …. so good
Information on care, seasoning, cleaning all very confusing and contradictory. So I am basically using parchment, and not getting it wet. I’m being probably over cautious with changes in temperatures as I don’t want it to crack. My sourdough bread baked beautifully! Very pleased….hopefully this unglazed stoneware will last.

Cheap made in china junk
Bought this product and year n a few months ago - top cracked from ordinary use - thought I'd give it another try so I just did a re-purchase of the same product thru my order history - not the same product - cheaper material and smaller - so it went from being questionable product that had done an acceptable job in it's short life span to an even cheaper product. I'd steer clear of this product and brand if I were you. I'm returning the bait n switch reorder n gonna spend the extra buck for a more expensive pan that, hopefully, is not made in China. Products from China just keeps getting worse.

It works
Some reviews mention that the bread sticks to the cloche. I heat cloche up in oven and place bread dough on parchment into the hot cloche. Under cover last 5 minutes or so to get a nice golden color. Comes out beautiful every time.

Amazing quality
I got one few month ago and the second one last week after baking bread in it many times. I have multiple cast iron pots for backing bread but this baker is truly amazing. Gives better result every time. Important is not to wash it with water and prep before using per instructions that it comes with.

Bakes well when used right
Okay so I bought this because we wanted to make more Baggett type bread. I really like it and my bread has been coming out great. Tip: as others have said using parchment paper is a must. Otherwise it just sticks and you can't get the bread out. Not a big deal I use parchment anyway. I will share my bread recipe below. The reason I gave three stars is because it feels very fragile. I'll be careful with it but I think it would break easily if not careful. Also because it's seems very pricy. Maybe I'm wrong and just don't understand what goes into making them. I know these kind of baking things tend to be expensive and this one had the best price on it.My easy bread recipe:2 1/5 cups flour1 1/4 cups waterCouple of pinches of sugar (to activate yeast)1/2 teaspoon yeast1 to 1 1/4 teaspoon of salt (to your liking)Mix water with yeast and sugar and let sit for a couple of minutes.Mix all together and let rise in a bowl for 3-7 hours. Comes out better with longer rise but if in a hurry it's fine.Kneed dough a few times. I don't kneed very much.Form into Baggett the length of bread pan and put inside with the parchment paper. Cover with lid and let rise 1-3 hours. Again depending on your time.Preheat oven to 415Drizzle with olive oil and bake 20-25 minutes covered and then another 10-15 uncovered (depends on oven)I hope it turns out as good as mine has!I haven't tried my sourdough yet. Will update when I do

Muy delicado
Es un material muy ligero peró hay que manejarlo con super cuidado. No es pratico,se mancha rapido y no es antiaderente le se pega todo sin papael para hornear.
