Quite a heavy lock but that can only be a good thing right? Extremely strong and no chance of your bike being stolen with this thing, MUST definitely recommend getting the 2.1 meter cable if you purchase this as the 1 meter version is far too short and not much use, with the 2 meter i was able to secure both wheels and the frame with plenty left over along with the d-lock adding even more security, had no worries at all that my bike wasn't going to be there when i got back, if you have an expensive bike then this is the lock for you, it isnt worth the risky buying a cheapo one.

Purchased the large version of this lock for my bike to protect it whilst I'm in the shop and I was really surprised how big it was. It's massive. Could you wrap it around a thick telephone pole? No, however it'll definitely wrap around a Sheffield's stand with ease.My bike is a Raleigh Vixen MTB and has a 18" frame and 25" tyres and it fits perfectly.A few problems I've encountered are- The lock cannot be fixed under my bike as there's no space for it. I wouldn't put it across the top bar facing upwards as it'll block my brake cable and following onto my next point, the clamp for the bike lock to hold it onto the bike when not being used is very weak. The lock seems like it will slip out of it and isn't held in place. This isn't a big problem for me as I'd rather keep it in my bag with me than have it dangling down, I'd have to keep it in my bag anyway to hold the cables.- The doesn't necessarily jam, but sometimes the key just won't turn. Not often, but sometimes. Perhaps there's a knack to it, but its a bit annoying sometimes.Overall, first impressions, this lock seems decent. My bike feels safe. It's heavy and a brilliant deterrent. I would have liked another key, but two is still good. I'd also like it if it were possible to register them in case they get lost.If anything happens, I shall come update my review.

It’s Gold standard so meets our insurance requirements, it’s very strong, big in size but heavy and the coiled cable isn’t the easiest to pull through the bike frame having said that it does what it’s meant to do, so we feel confident our bikes will be secure. We. bought two locks.

Great lock, very thick and feels really strong. I've got two other D-Locks by Abus and Squire and this feels the strongest, thickest and heaviest. The Cable is a bit annoying because it's difficult to keep straight when you are putting it on, great for transporting, just annoying to put on without it springing back.

I have ordered this lock as it’s such a good price and approved to be safe. However the first lock that arrived was a bit rusty from the inside but I still decided to use it, to my surprise the lock got stuck after week of using it. I assumed it was a faulty product due to rust and ordered a replacement. A replacement was not rusty but the lock was not twisting smoothly at all. It really is a shame

Great value with a couple of issues. The lock can be a little bit annoying to close and the cable is super wound up like a spring, so really awkward. Currently trying to stretch it out to uncoil it.

This lock looks really sturdy. It is heavy steel construction and the extra wheel locking cable makes good sense. I checked versus other similar gold rated locks and it looks to be good value for money.Worth checking you can mount the bracket and lock on your bike. I have fitted it to the rear carrier on my bike with bungee cables to avoid it contacting my legs whist riding.
