This book is the exact encouragement I was looking for. Abbie did a wonderful job writing this book. In a world that tells you that you need wine to cope with motherhood, it’s refreshing to know that there are mothers out there who enjoy motherhood, even with the challenges that come along with it. Abbie is constantly reminding us to cling to the cross. Always pointing us back to Jesus.I really appreciate the summary at the end of each chapter. Abbie summarizes the chapter into 4 short sections, which I find really helpful. The narrative (mediocre motherhood vs Christlike mother hood), action steps (practical ways to do better in a certain area), questions (thought provoking questions to ask yourself), and a beautifully written prayer about the topic on the chapter.This book was convicting, but it was equally just as encouraging! I'm a first time mom with a child under one, and so I'm reading many books on motherhood and children. This is now a must read I'll be telling other mothers about. Abbie has an excellent way of presenting Biblical truths, even the hard to hear ones, in a way that point to Jesus as our hope of being great moms. This whole books points to Jesus, as it should. She shares tips and tricks, admits she has learned from failing, and helps guide in a loving way. Great book!

Every modern mom could learn from this book. It was so encouraging and the author has a fun way of writing which makes it easy to read. I was encouraged to live beyond surviving this stage.

Loved this book. I follow the author on social media. It’s controversial in the sense that Christian parenting isn’t really a “thing” but outside of that the book gives great tips on how to interact with your kids and teens and how to solve some issues without resorting to extremes of behaviour

I devoured this book and am now going through it a second time with my husband. Not a word is wasted, every chapter is full of clear and concise encouragment and practical advice. Hilarious at times, you really feel like you're out for coffee with a dear friend. Abbie's book is steeped in scripture and is exactly what mamas need to hear! Also, the book itself is just GORGEOUS. The stunning hard cover and whimsical illustrations throughout make it worthy of sitting out on your best bookshelf next to the classics. Save up your egg money if you need to, it's worth it!
