How about including all that is suppose to come with it...
Bought 2 to try around the house as we do like the light feature. One was complete, the other was not. It had no sticky pad and no crystals, just the unit. I will be returning the one that was incomplete, and we shall see how the one that is complete works. Not too hopeful with the reviews though.

a word of caution
This item is very beautiful and lights up well but there isn't one insect that finds this attractive. I've had multiple mosquitos and knats in the building.....but I had to kill them the old fashion way. So is the attractant to old? Its a no for me. Does not work guys, at least not for Texas knats and mosquitoes. Maybe it works in another state. If something changes, I will let you know.

Not sure I would purchase these again.
We are disappointed that we have not been able to purchase replacement adhesive cards. We liked the light feature but have to replace the entire light instead of just the adhesive part.

So I Should Have Believed The Reviews...
Though I read the reviews, I can't say that I believed them. I thought that my experience would definitely be different. And how wrong I was. On Thursday, I put the batteries in and turned it on. It was easy to put together and once turned on, emitted a brilliant, vibrant blue light. By Monday of the following week, the light was ~25% of what it started out to be. Oh, it must be the batteries, right? Wrong! The product just does not consistently work as expected. My coworker brought plants into the cubefarm at work that attract an array of flying pests. So I set up this flying insect trap in my cube....and I stare at it in frustration everyday as I continue to slap the gnats / fruit flies away from my face. I had such high hopes but in the end, should have believed the reviews.

Good with modification
Ok, I know those pellets they provide to stick to the insert are ridiculous. So, after reading the reviews on this I decided to buy the non-toxic yellow bug strips to put on the insert. I will continue to do this and when they fill up pull them off, measure, cut and replace. It's working Great! The blue light attracts them really good and the batteries last a long time.

Awful
I got these 2 days ago and immediately opened, prepared the glue sheets with the fly bait and put them out in a very HIGH FLY traffic areas. I think between all 4 sides in 2 units, there’s a total of 3 flies- in 48 hours! Not even any gnats. When nothing in the traps by 24 plus hours, pretty much 0% effective, I got sticky strips from the grocery store and they are the ones all covered in gnats after only 8 hours overnight. I was trying to use the plastic ones as they are said to be better and are definitely more sightly. But, guess I have to stick with the ugly sticky strips.
