It is really great product. The thread is smooth. However I still plan to put some grease on so it stays smooth longer. Also worth to mention that you do not need to tight it hard - lightly tighten it works perfectly fine.The hitch is quiet now and the ride with the trailer way much smoother. So far tried it with HF trailer which waited about 700ld but I'm sure it will work very well for my 2500lb boat trailer.The seller really cares about the product quality and satisfaction. When I replied the seller's follow up email they sent me replacement nuts for my first order because originally my first order came with regular (not zinc plated) and "some customers had issues with them". Next orders came with zinc plated nuts.Now I have ordered 3 of these.2 for myself - I plan to use hitch extension so 1 for hitch and 1 for extension.1 more for my mechanic - he was amazed by the idea.

After a long time putting up with a rattling hitch, this tightener caught my eye and I am finally able to have a noise free hook up for my utility trailer, bike carrier, and hitch cargo carrier. I just started using it with great results, and from the heavy duty material the hitch tightener is made of it should last a long time. It takes a little extra time when installing the hitch into the receiver, but well worth it.

Great stuff it works well on my hitch!! Just remember that since it is stainless steel if the nuts are tightened too tight the threads will smear and lock the nut on and the only way to get it off after that is break it which will be tough to do on a 1/2 inch bolt!!I will test it next week when we haul our equipment up for Elk Camp!!

This is the trick to that annoying rattle when anything is connected to your receiver hitch. Especially when you have an open air vehicle (Jeep Wrangler) the rattle is not only annoying, but it can give you a scare as well when you hit a bump.I use this every time I use my receiver!

This product is excellent. When I first got it, due to the wide lip on the class III to class II hitch adapter I use, it seemed as though it would not work for me. However, due to the multitude of configuration options, I was able to find one that would work for my setup. In order to maximize ground clearance, it was important for me to be able to tighten the hitch toward the top rather than clamping it down to the bottom of the receiver, and I was able to do that with this product. Oh yeah, and the price was right.

I bought a bed extender a few months back and it was so loose in the reciever and so loose in the part of it that adjusts that it was basically trash. Two of these things tightened it up %100.

The trailer hitch used to be a nagging rattle. Using the Hitch Bitch Quiet Collar, there is no more noise. It looks solid and I expect it will last for years. Thanks for a great product.
