Great to have when you need it!
So there's power banks everywhere... I mean, literally, everywhere. I see them all the time. However, most of them are much lower capacity and very few have wireless charging as well. This one is fairly high capacity (10,000 mAh) for cell phones and other devices and it also offers wireless charging. I can charge my Note 10 from nearly empty to full almost twice. I usually wind up going to bed with my phone at about 60% battery still and so I only charge this power bank every 3rd to 4th day. I've been using it every night to try and give it a good test for this review.Overall it works very well and I can honestly say it is fantastic for using on any trip. I have had a couple of times where rather than automatically shutting off after charging my phone to full, it'll just keep "charging" my phone and my phone will be extremely warm when I get it in the morning. I honestly can't say for sure if this is my phone or the power bank though, I'm not sure how you'd know which one is causing the issue for sure.I've also had it where it did not charge my phone completely 3 times now. It didn't run out of power either. One time it still had 60% on the power bank. Perhaps I knocked it in the night and it stopped charging because it was no longer aligned? Unlikely since it was still good on the power bank that morning. I assume it's just a glitch to be honest. However, considering the amount of use I've put this thing through and the very minimal issues I've had with it, I am very happy overall. My one complaint is that it does take some time to charge the actual power bank. Not the end of the world though.I would happily recommend this to anyone looking for a good power bank to charge any of their devices with!

Too big and heavy to be truly portable.
I can’t say I’m sold on this power bank. I’ve tested a couple of large capacity power banks recently, and they all come with a couple of annoying features and frustrating tradeoffs, but with the ALOGIC I’m seeing more downside than up.Right now, for instance, I’m using a power bank from X-Dragon that has an almost identical capacity (26800 vs 27000mAh). It doesn’t offer wireless charging and it tops out at 18W output so it isn’t suitable for charging a laptop, but at 430g it’s around half the weight of the ALOGIC, with the same capacity. That’s the problem with this one. It’s both big and heavy. As you can see in the attached photos it absolutely dwarfs my X-Dragon power bank, but it doesn’t offer any additional capacity. It’s too big and heavy to just toss in a bag and forget about. When you’re carrying this thing you’ll *know* you’re carrying it.Also, the included charging cable is USB-C. Fine, I guess, but most power banks come with a USB-A cable for a good reason: USB-A ports are ubiquitous. That’s changing, of course, but we’re not quite at full USB-C penetration yet, so it’s inconvenient to require me to find such a socket to charge a device that I might need to charge on the go. You need a port you’ll be able to find anywhere. Finally, while charging the LED readout flashes constantly with the current charge level. Right now I can see the number 89 flashing in an annoying fashion in the corner of my eye. It’s distracting, and I keep looking at it to see if it’s climbed to 90.Look, I’m sure this is a great power bank. Wireless charging is useful, and a 60W output is ideal if you want to top up your laptop battery. It’s just that I can get these features elsewhere with fewer drawbacks, and at the end of the day I don’t want to carry a brick everywhere I go.

Burnt plastic (electronics smell) and probable inaccurate % meter.
The USB ports have a burnt plastic or burnt electronics smell. This made me very weary of this battery pack. The first time I discovered the smell, I wasn't sure if the device was damaged and If it was even safe to use anymore. The smell is still there but the battery pack has been used a few times (drained and recharged) without issue.First, some important Q&A:- Does this do passthrough charging? No, the USB ports are shut off when the battery pack is being recharged.- Does it stay on with very low drain devices? No, if the device doesn't draw enough, the battery will shut off.- Do the USB ports turn on when being recharged? No. However, when the recharging stops, the USB ports turn on. So, USB ports turn on when recharging stops.- Does this do Power Delivery or Quick Charge recharging? I confirmed that it does 30 watt PD recharging.- USB C in and out? The USB C port is both input and output.- Do you need to press the button to activate the USB ports? No. When you plug your device in, it should start charging. Can you press the button to turn it on? Yes.My Review:I was really looking forward to this thing. It does 60 watt PD out, 30 PD in, and wireless charging!Unfortunately, the first time I start using it, I noticed the alarming burn plastic / electronics smell at the USB ports. This is very disappoint but now, i feel like I need to watch this closely when I''s being recharged.I'm pretty sure, at least once, I was recharging my phone and the % didn't drop. The build quality of this thing is pretty good. It's all plastic but most of it is velvety plastic so it doesn't feel cheap. It is big and flat, so keep that in mind if you're planning on buying this. Check the dimensions. it has a bigger footprint than most of my other batteries but it's thinner. The first time I used this, I noticed the % wasn't going down until after a while. This meant it was inaccurate. It is also really slow to recharge via regular USB port but I'm not sure if that's the power from the port or the bad % meter.Overall, this might be a good battery pack because of the wireless and PD features as well as the large capacity. However, that burnt electronic smell is still very disconcerting to me.
