Big Belly Bank Gator

The bank is a keeper, nicely painted and sturdy, and the 6th Big Belly Bank I have purchased for my grandchildren over the past 10 years. They all still use these banks to save and for decoration as they are colorful and cute without taking up a lot of space. The kids are fascinated watching the coins being swallowed by the bank right down into the see through belly and the bank is bolted so coins can not be removed without grownup help. The bank is tall enough to sit on the floor for easy feeding. This bank is a Christmas present for my 5 year old grandson who is into saving every penny. I will add his name on the foot to personalize with a paint pen.

We have these for all the kids, they are the coolest banks. The only problem with this one was a chip/dent on it.

Well-constructed and adorable. It took my 22 month old grandson about 15 seconds to figue out how to deposit the quarters and then he just wanted more, more, more. It made a wonderful gift with the book Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile. The money is secure and not easily removed. The dank is colorful and has a large capacity.

Pros:Holds a lot of coins. Charming quality wood crafting. Cute in room and attractive to kids. Challenging enough to not have kids break into it often. Zig zag path very fun to use. Kids 2-6 love it for sure.Cons:Pretty expensive for a coin catcher. Plastic sphere begins to bow and pull apart some when about 3/4 full. Not a deal breaker for me. I bought a second for a second kiddo.

The big belly banks are such a great gift for children. My first grandchild received the Dragon from a family friend. The person painted the child's name on the foot. When my second grandchild arrived, I ordered the Alligator bank, and painted my grandchild's name on the foot with inexpensive acrylic paints. I also gifted the Giraffe bank to a friend's new baby. My friend loved it, but not as much as her 3 year old daughter who wouldn't stop playing with it until my friend bought a Big Belly Bank for her.

I have purchased Big Belly Banks on several occasions for baby shower gifts never thinking I would one day purchase one for my own grandchild. After several broken ceramic banks, I remembered these banks. This bank has become an important part of our grandchild day....feeding "Chomp Chomp" the coins from everyone's pockets! Great product!

This is the first bank that our granddaughter enjoys "watching" her money go to a place where it will continue to grow…It is well made and will be a heirloom that her parents will keep and pass down to their grandchildren

I bought this for my 3 1/2 year old son. He loves putting his money in the big belly Gator bank. I bought this for my son because he loves Gators and his baby bank broke. :( But now that we have the Gator bank he is excited to clean his room for some quarters.
