Bought this as a gift (along with a few others). This one seems to be preferred above the others. He says this is the one he needed. :)It does seem to have a simplified organization that helps someone do the identifying easier.I haven't spent much time checking it out, but the gift receiver says it's the one.

Quick delivery, beautiful book with large quality photos. It is divided into editable and non editable sections.

Very good guide with its pictures and illustrations.

Well if you love mushrooms and want to identify them, this is a good book for you. I would recommended it for that purpose.

This is a well written book with lovely, clear photos and it is nice to have the book in two parts for the edible and the poisonous fungi but was not really suitable for mushroom hunting.I bought this book as my garden, at this time of year, is full of many different types of fungi, I know how to identify field mushrooms but that is it so I wanted something I could walk around the garden with, although the book is a bit too large for that it did help to identify a couple of mushrooms but not enough for me to feel safe enough to pick and eat them.I also have many more different types of fungi in the garden than was in the book, maybe if I had been able to look inside the book before I bought it I might have chosen a smaller more concise book.In all it is a nice looking book and interesting to read but I can't say it would be ideal when it comes to deciding if the nice mushroom under the tree would be safe for breakfast.

Lovely book and well priced. Sadly this arrived some 10 days after its promised arrival date. To be fair to the seller he responded straight away to my emails and I think it was a technical hitch with their distributor.

the first book didnt arrive .and I gave up on it.....weeks and weeks later it turned up, and I was very impressed much better than I'd expected it to be for the low cost. Highly recomended.
