This is really a great toilet seat. The wood grain is pretty and it has extra bumpers underneath to make it very sturdy. The ability to lift it off the toilet to clean is great and I love the slow close feature. The instructions were simple and it was very easy to install. Well worth the price.

A little tricky to install correctly. Correctly being the operative word. I think many of these toilet seats are not installed correctly, then people complain that they don't look right or function correctly. You have to be smarter than the toilet seat.I've had mine about two weeks. It looks great, it functions great. It fits great! I like the slow close feature. It fits my round toilet perfectly, but of course, I had to adjust it but you would have to do that with any toilet seat you purchased.I do not know how long it will last. That is why I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 stars. i will keep you posted on the durability of said toilet seat. But so far, I really like it. Some people might find the YouTube video helpful. Recommend.

Delivery was quick. Instructions very easy to follow, including QR video tutorial link. Product is sturdy and well-made. Both lids fall down slowly. Color, wood finish very nice. I highly recommend this product.)

The product is poorly engineered. Like another customer reported the seat will not stay up. This occurs with toilets that have a top that protrudes a bit forward from the tank. I have two American Standard toilets and have never had this problem before. I even took a level to them and they are dead-on level. As well, I used the rear screw holes so that's not the issue. They needed to engineer the product so that the hinges protrude more forward from the mountings so that the seat tilts back a bit when in an upright position. I thought of possibly putting rubber shims under the mounts but I'm tired of coming up with hacks to compensate for poor Chinese design. Returning.

Really nice toilet seat. Wood and finish is beautiful however, a little hard on the butt (and not in a good way) if sitting for long periods of time. Only other thing I have is the top doesn't stay up when peeing...I have to hold it up in order not to splash urine all over it. -- I do have a fairly steady and straight stream but sometimes not so good so it would be nice if it "stayed up" (pun intended). I "could" sit down when peeing but that's not "manly", so I guess I'll just have to deal with it. YMMV

Product as stated, replaced old seat that had started to peel, so it wasn’t wood. Pretty coloring. Easy to install in a few minutes. Good value compared to others I looked at.

I got the natural to replace an oak seat after a neighbor in my apartment building complained she heard the toilet seat slamming shut through her pipes and even went so far as to buy me a soft close white seat instead of just telling me first. After politely thanking her for letting me know and to not wait so long if noise from my apartment bothered her I said I would buy my own, as I liked my wood seat, and the one she had bought was an easy return. I really love the look and weight of it, though some have posted it's not real wood but wood composite and it has that same weight as my old seat, and the natural oak look and feel of wood is pretty authentic to me...very easy to install. I at first arranged a return thinking it was an inch short and luckily went back to the amazon site and saw I had missed the instruction to rotate the hinges...voila absolutely perfect fit! And the soft close works as advertised. Amazing! Don't hesitate it's a game changer to happy neighbors or late night family members who won't be woken up by a slam of a toilet lid. Who knew?
