Browning High Power Assembly, Disassembly Manual 9mm Paperback – January 1, 2005

My only complaint is that I wish I had written this myself. Clear and concise, with all the information needed to buy, own shoot, and maintain the world class Browning HP pistol. Recommended without hesitation of any kind.

I thought this booklet was very informative and useful for understanding thisfamily of pistols. It is well written & has lot's of good pictures and illustrations.It seems to be a military type manual in the way it is organized. Well worththe price if you don't have another, more comprehensive source to reference.It's all I'll need to work on my older FEG P9 9mm, Browning HP clone.Great,William

Excellent manual. I used it to fully disassemble my Hi Power . Made it very clear and simple to do the tear down.

Great book if you own one and want to take care of it properly

This is thin, and only covers the real basics for the major model revisions and a user disassembly and assembly of the pistol. That is actually the strong point, it does not play games or head off into the sunset, it goes straight to the point, and is pretty easy to understand.The bad part-- it does not give full and complete take down information, and thus is not a true disassembly manual. If you want to take down the pistol, completely, to the every bit laid out on the counter, it just does not handle that, it only handles the most major assembly instructions. If you want to know how to remove and reinstall the tangent sight-- nope, not really part of the instructions. If you want to pull out every last bit of the trigger group? Not here, as apparently the author felt that is a gunsmith only operation. Do not expect too much from a quick user guide, but for general cleaning and an overview, it works well, but do not expect too much.

These manuals are a must to complete my collection, I have many so far.

This is a pamplet rather than a book. It has good information but nothing new. The pictures and descriptions are identical to another book on the Browning High Power. If you have no info on the Highpower it is useful. If you are looking for detailed information on working on or customizing the High power then this is not the book for you. It worth the cost if you are into High Powers.
