Essential Mathematical Methods for the Physical Sciences

I'm a programmer using this book, and it's companion (Foundation Mathematics...), for self study as a foundation for tackling books about realtime dynamics simulation, for computer games in my case. Love these two books. Find the text very clear, interesting, unhurried and thought-provoking. Occasionally an innocuous-looking statement turns out to actually require more work to understand than seemed at first glance, requiring me to look up online explanations of the topic. Together with the examples, I feel this encourages development of an intuitive understanding.

This is the good book with an affordable price. The content is very knowledgable which can help me understand more about Math at graduate level. Highly recommend for graduate students expertised in Machanical engineering!

very good for beginners

its not useful for semester exams...in short if u r preparing for jam,jest it may be useful.....details explaination has not given here.....only important and some bits of higher things are there.....its not for a beggineer,,,,,but the problems are tough....useful for entrances view
