I need to change my RO every year.

Very efficient with the aid of pre filters and charcoal filters

With the original home master RO filter for about 3 years and use to get around 15ppm.after changing to this filter the ppm was about 46, than my wife is telling me that the water tasted funny.so i've did some research and odered DOW filmtec, instantly got 5~7ppm.water tasted like the the oringal Home Master filter.i would for sure, spend extra $12 more to get DOW RO filter in future.
