Breyer Traditional Deluxe Wood Horse Barn with Cupola Toy Model, 30.5"L x 21"H

This barn is awesome! Wonderful for little ones to play with, to fire up their imaginations! Very realistic, with many ways to accessorize! Just like a 'Barbie Dream House" for horses!!

Purchased two for twin grand daughters and assembled them to be ready for play on Christmas. Took approximately one hour each to put together. Instructions not really clear especially if you get it wrong on the first step. On the first one I got the bottom reversed and the predrilled holes did not match. I had to drill new holes for the stalls. Second one was no problem. It was all worth both the time and price to see the eyes of my grand-daughters light up when they first saw them on Christmas. I made hay by cutting up some dry grass (we live in Florida). I bought some battery operated Christmas lights.

I absolutely never write reviews for anything however, to keep others from making the same mistake that we made I am taking a moment to share our story. Christmas Eve had arrived and my husband and I spent almost 3 hours trying too make this barn work for our daughters big Santa gift. The quality of wood was not good, the pieces kept breaking and the holes were not even close to aligning the inside stalls correctly so that the outside walls could properly fit on the barn. After trying, so determinedly, to make this barn work for Christmas morning we had to throw in the towel and write a note on the box from Santa apologizing for the poor quality of the barn that his elves just couldn't put together for her. Although the design of this barn is quite lovely, we will never buy a Breyer barn again. Given the price, the lack of quality and the horrible preparation for assembly we were extremely disappointed. I will say, that Amazon has a wonderful return process which has made a nice ending to the Christmas Eve disaster.

Santa brought this barn for my horse obsessed daughter for Christmas, so we didn’t open it to assemble until the night before. I had Breyer stuff as a kid too and am used to a certain quality standard with them, but it felt like this new barn design fell a little short. For starters, the wood chosen was on the soft size for a model with such small detail parts. Both door latches and the side door arrived broken but there was nothing I could do about it on Christmas Eve but break out the wood glue and clamps. The barn also didn’t come together quite right, I’ve put together models before, I always balance the screws on each side during assembly, don’t tighten them until everything is in place etc and I still had gaps with part of the bottom. I don’t know if it got bumped in shipping so it wasn’t quite right, but I was really disappointed with the damage while I was up until 1am on Christmas Eve assembling this. Ultimately I was able to glue everything back together, we spent another weekend painting and staining it (after it was assembled because she changed her mind, oof, do not recommend) and my daughter loves it.

Barn was large enough for my daughters horses and once assembled was sturdy. Only real gripe I have is it was extremely difficult to assemble. Pilot holes didn’t line up and instructions were difficult to decipher at times. Other than the complete pain in the rear to put together (2 hours for me) it is worth the buy and should hold together for years of play.

Our granddaughter loved it. Her face lit up when she got it. The assembly was very easy to follow and there were enough screws which doesn't always happen. In fact there were more than we needed. We chose this product because it was the only one available that was a good size. The materials used to build with seem to be quite sturdy - time will tell on its sturdiness. The price we felt was quite expensive but we chose this one because it fit our needs.

My wife received this for her birthday so that she would be able to play with the grandchildren. You do not have to but I will be be painting this to resemble a traditional red barn. Great product and will be one of the center pieces for al the family to play with. Be active, be proud and share life with your grandchildren and they will amaze you just like this fun barn!

As some of the reviewers mentioned, this is a bit of a challenge to get together. I am wondering why the company hasnt addressed this issue and make some changes. The holes DONT line up and it's frustrating. However, the quality of the barn and wood was nice. Finished nicely so I painted it. Built for my great niece for Christmas, she is 7 and a big collector of Breyer Traditionals.

Took 2.5 hours to put together with a fair amount of cussing due to the very small size of the holes and screws. Great when finished , very sturdy but have to be in the right frame of mind to tackle the assembly. I personally think its rather unattractive and bland for the price but this has been a huge winner in terms of hours spent playing.

My daughter has hours of fun with this. She was blown away when she saw it on Christmas morning. A beautiful quality product. Superb.

Poor quality.. My husband put it together for our daughter for her birthday. None of the pre made holes matched up. The stable door had a hole in it. The top of the barn didn't fit in the premade slit .. Not worth the money at all.. I would not recommend this product .. Had we not made it up I would have sent it back!!

My daughter loves this! It wasn't particularly difficult to put together, the pieces all fit well, and plenty of horses can fit into it. The full-size Breyer horses fit fine, two into each stable doesn't leave much room, but it's fine.This is a keeper -- if not kept in our family it will be a popular item to pass around.

Very well made, my daughter absolutely loves it. It is quite large though, you'll need quite a large space to keep it in!
