Perfect for the job..
The shoe is perfect for the job and helps a ton !1. Comfort - I intentionally did not go for a slab/plaster to allow mobility. This can be removed at nights or during daily routines and its recommended by my doctor to have it on throughout the day but remove at nights.2. Size - My foot ware size is size UK 9 and I took a medium of this - its just about adequate for me. Anything above 9 may also go for L due to the cushion. Size chart is missing from the product images - seller should provide guidance image for that.3. Air cushion - It has air pump and vent (just like a blood pressure machine part that goes around the arm). After wearing, you can lock the air vent and pump by pressing the blue bubble to give it air cushion. This gives extreme comfort while walking. Its important to note that air pressure should be reduced / vented out after regular intervals else you may end up with pain in foot due to lack of blood supply4. Short and long boot - I have a fracture in foot, hence opted for short boot. If fracture is around ankle or part below knee, one may opt for long version of the boot. Short one is heavy (about 2-3kgs), so I can imagine the longer one will be heavier. Always go by doc's recommendation.5. Difference in height - due to this boot, it creates a height difference and may put the fractured leg under more pressure while walking. I use a thick sole slipper in other leg to balance the height and reduce pressure.6. Unidirectional - Same shoe can be used in either foot.Overall, i liked the product hence writing an elaborate review to help others.
