so versatile and so well made!!
The product is shipped in a really nice box ,The pan is easy to clean and looks great all around with its luxurious appearance in and out. It is roomy and works great on top of my stovetop. Cooking in this pan works extremely well as the heat temperature is evenly distributed throughout the pan so the food comes out exactly the way it should and is the temperature it should be. Pan and lid are heavier than one would expect!

She prefers this now over her LeCrusette cookware. It's very high quality.

Absolutely gorgeous from cooktop to table
First of all let me just say that this is a really pretty pan. Stunning, really. The black ceramic coating is super shiny and almost looks like a liquid - it absorbs and reflects light beautifully. This pan is quite heavy and thick and it heats up quickly and very evenly. There are some special care instructions for this one that are a little different from pans I am used to but it doesn’t require any exotic, hard to find cleaners or anything like that to properly maintain it. The ceramic coating does not seem to scratch too easily and unlike typical non-stick coating it doesn’t flake off and it can withstand high heat. This pan is great for cooks who like to entertain. I like to use it for cooking stuff that can then be served from the pan (paella, jumbalaya, etc), it’s so beautiful it makes for great presentation if you want to impress dinner guests. The handles are secure and very easy to grab which is helpful because this pan is not a lightweight. The lid is flat and actually inset slightly instead of the bulbous shape lids that come with most cookware these days. This pan has the thickness and weight of a cast iron pan (ok, maybe not *quite* that heavy but its pretty close) without having to deal with the seasoning process and specialized cleaning that cast iron requires. It has great heat retention.Overall this is a quality pan that feels like it will last for many years of use. It came in a really nice box and would make a really nice gift for anyone who loves to cook.

Total pan love
I love this pan every time I use. First of all, it is just so pretty to look at, but to have great performance along with beautiful looks is why I pull it out again and again. It's a very versatile pot. So far, I have used it as a braiser, a Dutch over and a deep skillet. It is similar to my other favorite pan - a Le Creuset braiser which is larger. 60% of my cookware is All-Clad, and I really like this turn that All-Clad has taken. I know of no other pans that are made like this that look this nice.So why all the pan love?-- The size of this pan is useful for so many things.-- There is a small vent hole in the lid, so no more leaving the lid half-balanced for venting.-- I can use a wider variety of utensils with it without leaving marks. I'm still careful, but not as much.-- This pan is significantly lighter in weight which makes it much easier to move it in and out of the oven as well as on and off burners.-- There are capacity lines in quarts on one side and liters on the other. This is really handy when making dishes that liquid is being added to, and also for just keeping an eye on how much might comfortably fit in the pan.-- The rim on this pan has been designed for ease of pouring and that, depending on what you are making, is a huge plus. The weight also makes pouring easier.-- This pan cleans like new. That's one of the things I've loved about all of my stainless steel All-Clad pans - even the 25-year-old pans look like they are brand new.-- The steel core heats up very evenly.-- It can easily go from stove to table.-- It is induction-compatible.||||||| > > Note Before Using the Pan < < ||||||One thing I want to mention is that All-Clad recommends boiling a mixture of vinegar and water in the pan prior to the first use. Unfortunately, this is in the list of instructions after the Cooking-in-it instructions, and it is really easy to miss that step. It is in the Cleaning instructions, which is the last thing I usually look at, so I figured I might not be alone. Those instructions should really be the first in the pamphlet, not the last.As I said at the start of my review, the more I use this pan, the more I love. Perhaps because, with use, I have seen how well it does with utensils that I believe would have made marks on the light interiors of my enameled pans. I have also been able to see just how versatile this pan is. I've taken three pans that this one pan has taken the place of to Goodwill.
