Worth every penny!
I first discovered this tea at the Kusmi tea salon/cafe in Paris. This is an unusual Irish tea, in that the leaves are not as oxidized as traditional black tea leaves. This lends a bit of freshness and a bit of an oolong edge. But it is brisk too, which is the beauty of an Irish breakfast tea. My everyday breakfast tea is an organic English breakfast from Rare Cargo (served in Thomas Keller's Bouchon Bakeries), as it is less expen$ive than the Kusmi. It's an excellent tea, but Kusmi is ethereal, delightful, like nothing else. Really, words cannot describe. If you enjoy a black tea, I suggest you treat yourself to this affordable luxury!

Best Irish Breakfast Tea
I'm usually not a fan of English or Irish Breakfast teas, but because my husband loves them, we bought a can of Kusmi's Irish Blend in Paris. After we returned home from our Paris trip, I made a pot for my husband and I found that I loved the blend. It was mild enough for me and strong enough for my him. The tin of Irish Blend was used up fast, partially because visitors required multiple pots. We've tried to buy additional tins of Kusmi's Irish Blend, but it seems to have been discontinued. We'd love to buy more --- so if the blend is offered again, we'll be in line to get it. & if I knew how, I'd duplicate the blend myself ! It is truly a tea that delights!!!!!
