Solid gazebo for a grill cover
It's been over 7 months since we put this up. The canopy is starting to show a bit of age and fading in the Florida sun, but that's expected. Other than that, it so far has held up very well. Assembly took two people a little under an hour. When we first built the gazebo we didn't immediately anchor it into the ground. And our luck a giant storm came through that week and toppled the gazebo and rolled it across the lawn. Shockingly, no glass broke, and the only damage to it was two feet were pretty bent and a screw setting was completely demolished. After bending the bent legs and putting a plumbing hose clamp around the broken screw area, the Gazebo looks good as new. +1 for solid construction as the storm blew it and rolled it across our yard.We decided against anchoring this through our existing patio and instead used large plant potters as seen in the pictures. I used 3/4" pressure treated plywood and cut a ~8" circle which was mounted to the bottom of the gazebo feet. This provided more support and anchoring to the ~30lbs of stone that we then put in the potters. We were going to fill the potters with dirt and flowers, but we decided we liked the look of the granite-ish looking stone instead.

Excellent product for the money.
I've had this for 8 months over the winter. It still looks new.No signs of rust so far.The entire top WITH FRAME can be removed in seconds that you can store inside during the winter months. I did not do this - mine stayed outside all winter. The feet can be screwed down to your deck or anchored to the ground with stakes. I saw some gazebos that do not have the anchoring feature. You really need to anchor a gazebo like this - otherwise you might as well attach a string and call it a kite. The side shelves are nice, as the row of hooks for utensils. My deck is lit up enough from the house that I never use the lights. There is also a large hook hanging down from the center of the top. This took less than an hour for two people with minimal skills to set this up and anchor it to the deck. The toughest part was stretching the top over the frame. My long term concern is how well the soft top will hold up. There are gazebos like this that have a hard top.

Nice Looking Item at a Good Price but Quality Control at the Factory Needs Improving
I was looking for something to take some of the sun off of us on a part of our odd sized deck where we put a food table and this fit the size perfectly. This is a vacation home and the sun is super strong on the deck with no shade. The price is a lot lower than other gazebos of this type that I have seen so I figured I would take a chance.First the good: was delivered (with Prime) in 2 days as promised. The box was in good shape and all parts were well packed. My husband and I followed the directions (not bad) making sure to take our time and think through the steps before bolting anything. I had read some reviews that mentioned missing parts so we made sure to check for all parts before starting - they were all there. Overall it took us maybe an hour to put it together and that includes bolting the legs to our deck. It looks good and the fabric of the top appears to be of a decent quality. Time will tell how it stands up to the strong sun on our deck. The shelves are a nice addition and are of a decent quality. We like the hooks for cooking tools, etc. but keep in mind that the hooks on the shelf are of one long piece and they are fixed in place. We also think that the bottle opener (pre installed on one of the legs) is a nice addition. The not so good: out of the box we saw that one of the 4 legs had a decent sized bent in part which resulted in it not looking great and some missing paint. We also saw other parts of the frame that had scratches where paint was missing. I wanted to take some pictures but it was raining hard by the time we finished the install and I forgot. In any case, don't expect perfection with the parts and painting if you buy this. This item was well packed and there is no way that the bend in the frame happened in that box so it had to leave the factory that way. Poor quality control. I am going to buy some touch up paint and then clear coat the frame with poly spray which is what I do with all my metal garden items - it makes a difference so you don't get rust. I recoat them all each spring taking care not to miss the areas with the bolts/screws etc. It makes a big difference in how things last and look so spend the few dollars on a can of poly spray and do this. In any case, because we were at our vacation place I didn't want to wait to put it together so we just decided to live with the bang in the leg. It doesn't affect the length of the leg.The top is a little tricky to get on the last corner so I recommend letting the top sit in the sun for a few minutes if you can before installing it so that the fabric is soft. As I mentioned we were putting it together on a rainy cloudy day so we had to take out some of the top frame pieces to make adjustment to get the top on. The good is that the top frame is constructed in a way that the inside corners are flexible so you are able to make adjustments. However, the downside of this is that I can see an issue with the roof frame bending in with any type of weight on it so I am going to replace the top as soon as I see any wear on it. Obviously this top has to come off in the fall if you are in a snow area like we are.We bolted the four legs to our wood deck (bolts not included) to insure stability through any bad rainstorms this summer. You have got to do this if you expect any type of gazebo frame with a top on it to stay put. We have always done this with all of our gazebos and have not lost one yet, both high and lower quality types.I didn't install the light bars yet because I didn't have enough batteries but due to other reviews that mention them falling off almost immediately I will be putting them up with a zip tie so that they don't come down. I am not terribly worried about the lights because I will be putting up tube lights. If they work great it's a nice addition. They don't have a switch on them it is push the bar on, push the bar off so they will have to be mounted where they can be reached. There is a hook that is supposed to attach in the middle of the upper frame to hang I guess a light fixture. Out of the box our hook was stripped. No way to put it in. I will be asking the company to ship me a new hook. Again, nice ideas but poor quality control at the factory.Lastly, definitely check the dimensions if you are really wanting something that is the full size of 8x5. The frame is definitely a bit less than 8x5 - that might be the size with the top on which extends out a couple of inches on both sides. So overall we really like it and for the price feel that it was a good deal. It looks very nice and high quality.I am going to order a new set of top fabric pieces to keep on hand. I always do this when I get a new gazebo and find that these fabric pieces are more expensive and harder to find if you wait. Better to have it and put it away for the future. So nice item but if you are the type that any little imperfection is going to bother you then I would rethink this purchase. Sunjoy - get it together in the factory - you are producing items that people want to buy at a nice price, tighten up your quality control.

Bought as a gift, now I want one!
Purchased as a gift for a relative that loves to grill and smoke. He has several pits, a real fanatic. He absolutely LOVES this thing. He did say that it was a bit difficult to assemble. I've been over (for delicious dinners) and I must say the quality is impressive for what it cost. We could have been lucky, because none of the pieces were dented or damaged as others have experienced. I've seen weights to anchor the legs down, but the feet have holes so that you can steak it, or drive lag bolts through them. The top has arched bracing so it's perfect for decorative lights to be draped throughout, which is what he has done. The included LED lights are lame, don't expect to get much useful light from them. He even added shower curtain rings and strategically placed clips, so that he can block off a side if it starts raining. He uses this to cover his Green Egg, so he must be happy with it because that's his favorite pit.

Picture does not do this item Justice!!
I will give this 5 STARS!! Why?1. My item came as expected all the pieces were there! Nothing was bent. The packaging was perfect!2. Husband is not a handyman type of guy and we were able to figure out directions and we had this thing up in 2 hours3. Once assembled it looks "GRAND" This does not look flimsy or cheap!the only issue is putting on the top pieces (j &k ) you will have to really stretch them to get them on. Other than that it was quite simple to put up.We are happy and pleased with the outcome. Please remember to gently slide the lights on. You will also need 12 AAA batteries. Each lite take 3 batteries! We were surprised and quite please with the end result

Highly recommend
Excellent gazebo. This is my second one. It is perfect. Great price. Absolutely fantastic quality. The first one I bought, I screwed to the decking and put sand weights around the legs. It survived 2 major storms and still looks perfect. I bought another and placed it next to the first, to accommodate more guests. Highly recommend. I'm 54 and assembled it myself. Easy.

Great value for money
Came in a very big box. Well packaged. Went together quite quickly with a second person to help. Very well made with a brown textured powder coating to the metal so looks well protected against the elements. Very impressed with the build quality. Makes a great shelter for the BBQ. Haven't used it in the rain yet. The lights are just led torches which take 3 AAA batteries in each one. They clip to the roof beams on 2 plastic mushrooms.

5 stars for quality and ease of assembly
Brilliant is not a big enough word to describe this gazebo. It arrived at 1pm, assembled it (alone) by 2.15. (Not bad for an old bird of 64💪).Easy to manage with just a step stool to help (2 could do it in 45 mins).Very well packaged and each piece properly labelled, straight forward -ish instructions.Had to take out a small section to get the top cover in place but was easy to replace afterwards.I'm more than pleased with this item and it looks great with my plants all around it (bought it to keep the sun of my French doors).
