I'm a proud Washington State University alumnus and I chose this plate frame because I wanted the full name of the school to be spelled out and not abbreviated - as in WSU - as there are other colleges/universities that have this acronym. Additionally, I recommend not washing this plate with soap as the instructions say and just rinse down with water.
