It's a deep maroon or burgundy.

Q: Does this item come with a protective seal? Mine arrived without one and im questioning if its used

We would expect that the cosmetics stay sealed as intended. Not all cosmetics have outer packaging or seals. When our lipsticks are sealed, it has a UPC number sticker to act as a tamper seal.
