Trying to find a pair of shoes that don't cut into her skin is rather difficult. So when I saw these, with the nice soft tops, I jumped. They fit well, but if your child has wide feet, I wouldn't buy them. They are rather narrow. The lights are awesome! Super bright and there are tons of color options as well as multiple switching options. I felt they were well made. All that being said... She has worn them less than a month. She is not hard on her shoes. And she did not wear them on especially wet days. And yet... she now has one shoe that just won't light up. At all. Tried charging them, overnight, and it didn't change. It just won't work. It is a big disappointment for her, as she was very excited to have such neat, unique shoes. Other than that. I loved these. She loved these. But less than a month on an 8 yr old who is careful with her "fancy shoes", and we have to replace them. *sad sigh*

I bought these as a present for my daughter for getting straight A’s.She thought they were cool as soon as she opened the package but once she realized they lit up and changed colors she was so excited. These are not your every day kids light up shoes ! The lights are super bright, and they are rechargeable and it comes with a charger for both shoes.Very impressive quality for the price !

First things first. My daughter loves these shoes with the different colors that can light up. Now with that said and out of the way there were only 2 real problems with them. First the wire for the clicker on the right shoe was way to short and you could not insert it into the tongue like you are supposed to. The other real issue was also the right shoe where it stopped charging after 2 days. After pulling the sole out and the battery pack out and also unplugging the power wire and plugging the power wire from the left shoe to see if it still worked (which it did) i then inspected the wire from the right shoe. The wire had a break in it at the base of the clicker so i had to somehow fix it which was not hard to do. After removing the rubber casing from the clicker to get access to the soldering points i removed the bad wire and replaced it with some sturdier wire and once that was done and the lights worked again i re encapsulated the clicker with the rubber casing then added shrink tube for added protection. Now my kiddo is happy again with her light up shoes.Improvements to the wire with the clicker and better QC about the length of wire and you have a solid 5 star pair of shoes

My son came across a YouTube video where they dance and their shoes light up. These shoes were perfect for him. He danced the night away in the dark using the different light variations. I would buy these again if his current shoes go out definitely worth it. When they die, we recharge them and we haven’t had a problem with them.

The first pair was worn for awhile, so when one shoe stopped working, i was disappointed because I wanted to hand them down to my sister’s child, and didn’t feel they had been used so much that they should have worn out. But my child loved them, and the shoes themselves are nice and sturdy, so I ordered them in a larger size.She has worn them twice - both times indoors, and the left shoe stopped working.The others always had an issue with one shoe battery dying first, so I thought that was it, but when I put them on the charger, the left shoe doesn’t charge properly, either (see video).These aren’t cheap shoes and I’m not generally a complainer, I dealt with the issues with the first pair because they were mostly fine… but I am very very disappointed with this Pair.

The media could not be loaded. Let me first start by saying these shoes are so unique and cool! My son loved them and wore them every day. I love the wide variety of light patterns and colors, and the lights themselves are very bright. However, like other reviewers stated, they do not last long. We got 2 months of (everyday) wear out of them before the lights quit working. These shoes could have a lot of potential, and I would even pay close to $50-$60 for them if I knew I could get a longer life expectancy out of them. We probably could have made them last longer if my son hadn’t worn them everyday and just saved them for special occasions (but what kid wants to do that?!) They also started to get pretty stretched out after a week or two of wear. Overall, very cool shoes & worked great in the beginning, but don’t expect them to last forever (or even 6 months) Until improvements are made, cool novelty item to have but not meant for everyday wear.
