I bought these for my daughter as she is at Uni and even though the needle spiking is something completely off the charts as regards what someone can do to another, I bought these to at least help deter the spikers that use drinks as their weapon.It is genuinely sad and horrific to know that there people out there that believe this is acceptable. If they were decent, it wouldn't even enter their mind but these are not decent people and as a father I would do anything to protect her.I bought the two pack, they have been very well received by her and her friend, all I can say is that if you have a child of these ages, and God knows how many other ages, it's a worth while purchase, no guarantees but maybe that type of scum might not bother.One final footnote is the message she sent to me...Hey dadddio. We had a house party here last night, and I used my cup protector. I felt so safe having it, even though I trusted everyone who came, it was so nice to have.

I bought this for my daughter to use when she’s socialising at university. She said that she’s used it every time she’s gone out and found it really helpful. She’s told all her friends about it and advised they buy them as well. I find it sad that a product like this is needed, but it appears it’s essential as a few of her friends have had their drinks spiked when not using it. Highly recommend.

Overall the product is very useful and the idea behind it is great.However there are a few things I don’t like about it:- The cover itself is quite hard to get back into the hair tie part once it’s been used, which leads me to the second con of the product- It is not water resistant or water repellent which means that once you have used the cover it is wet and even harder to put in and it is kind of messy.But even though it has these cons I would still use it on a night out and would recommend it as a safety measure to anyone.

These are a must have, I will continue to purchase this after one of my own was spiked, this really helps prevent spiking and could potentially save an individual and families from the distress we experienced as parents.
