This is a pretty good companion to the doll, it actually sits on the horse and is stable, I know this seems obvious that it should do but with these things you never know. The horse and the doll are also in proportionIt's an official product by Mattel and is pretty well made, the horse is built solid and has an articulated head, which is a really cool feature. The mane on the horse feels nice as well, although the tail is just a lump of plastic and has no hair on it.The horse just comes on it's own with no accessories which makes me feel that this is more of a companion to the doll rather than a product of it's own. There is no missing paint and everything is nicely finished.I did notice that it's legs at the top have a hole and a cut out section which makes it look a little cheap.A really nice companion to the doll, well made with an articulated head, the doll fits on too.

It's often hard to get quality toys for children who're animal mad, and in particular horses, as many are fakes or have sharp edges etc. This offering from Mattel comes just as shown in the first picture above but the packaging is easy to remove.The horse itself is larger than I expected as I've bought much smaller horses for more previously, so my granddaughter is even more overjoyed. It's a solid toy too but sadly only the head moves which she's a bit frustrated about. However, being able to brush the mane, but again not the tail partly makes up for the loss, albeit we had to scrabble around to find a comb to do the job as there's nothing else with the horse, which might be why it's so cheap.Overall, though, a decent toy to please any horse-mad youngster!

Mattel Spirit Untamed Herd Horse (Approx. 8-in), Moving Head, Palomino with Long Blonde Mane is beautiful to look at as well as a visually attractive plastic model of a palomino horse. A good option for children who love animals, especially horses.There is a lot of other items you can add to this Mattel Spirit franchise. I do like the horse, but the only real letdown was the fact that the only moving part of the horse is its head. There were not a lot of items included with the horse which would have been a good consideration by the manufacturer.An excellent value play item and the youngest girls in this household have loved playing with it.Happy to recommend it.

Adorable 'untamed herd horse'I was sent this in return for my honest opinion on it.This is absolutely adorable. A light brown horse, with small brown spots and blonde hair.The head is moveable, it can be positioned in different angles. The mane is actual hair, so you can brush and style this.The horse is made well and it's nice and sturdy, the feet are each wide enough to make it easy for the horse to stand by itself.I would recommend this, the little one loves it and has already asked for one of the horses 'friends'. It is slightly more than I thought it would be though.
