Review: Keep This Book For Life - This book mesmerizes and delights toddlers (and older kids too, I would guess). Minimal colors and words make its theme and illustrations all the more whimsical and memorable. When I read this book to two 3-year-old boys, at the end they collapsed in joy and laughter. Room to Think
Everything is relative. I bought this book because I wanted something for a 2 year old girl's birthday. The illustrations used muted tones and even though the story didn't grab me the way I wanted, I loved the premise. I got the point and the more subtle message this story offers. It's a great little story that leaves a child with room to think. I kept it and will read it to the little ones in my life, but I bought a different book for the birthday girl. I rated it for age 2 years but I think 3 and 4 year olds would follow the concept and I'll read it to older children and discuss it with them.

2nd grade giggles
I have this whole series in my classroom and Amy students LOVE it! They think it is so funny and enjoyable! It’s a little quirky but they sit together and read it and laugh all the time!

A little different from “I Want My Hat Back”
I really thought my Boys would love this one since “I want my hat back” was a favorite of theirs but it was a bit confusing for my 4 and 8 year old. When the turtle goes back for the hat I got a little chuckle from my 8 year old but in the end it turns out both turtles were just dreaming, and it’s just a bit confusing the first few read throughs. The moral to the story isn’t clear either but I enjoyed the book even if my kiddos did not. It did keep their attention though, not too long of a read, fairly short actually.

Adorable story and illustrations
This book has a great storyline about 2 turtle friends finding one hat, and how do they share it? The pictures are simple and help to tell the story. Our baby granddaughter has been listening to this story since just a few months old, she loves it! She is now 10 months old and this is one of her favorites. I think this book is a classic.

物欲ではなく友情を選ぶ決断が、嫌味無く、美しく自然に描かれています。魚編も熊編も好きですが。

Jon Klassen does it again with another children's story classic, this time he takes a slightly softer approach and looks at the importance of friendship and sharing. Absolutely lovely book!
