Paper is really poor
The product itself is awful. Very poor quality paper, almost like old newspaper. The cover also doesnt feel sturdy enough, like its missing a few layers. As a result the feel is terrible and the ink is dulled. Seems really cheap. As for the contents, the ending is pathetic and very disappointing, art is great.

Last stands
A big epic story. I liked the artwork and the story but dispite being over 200 pages the book still felt a bit rushed. Maybe I missed something but I did not see the point of Sargent Rocks sermons, I think if these were taken out and the space given to the main characters it would have been a better use of the space. The book took me a bit by surprise as I did think this might have been a bit of a gag book rather than the conclusion to the Metal storyline. The Batman Who Laughs unleashes his most ambitious end game. I really like the continuity by including the Doomsday book storyline here as well. Even though the heroes or even the world is no longer at it's best this world is not going down without a fight. However how many losses can even the greatest warriors that before they start to lose heart.I did really like this book the bit that did a note about it us that in between certain chapters it seen there was another mini story or book. If these are small thing on fine you can get the book to fill in the details but some of these things were big. All I'm all quite a satisfying conclusion or a new beginning, depending on the point of view.

A fantastic read with stunning artwork!
The Batman Who Laughs has begun his ascension to godhood and plans to create a new Multiverse, and only Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman stand in his way. Uniting various superheroes and even supervillains together in a final desperate battle to stop The Batman Who Laughs, who will live and who will die?I really enjoyed the Dark Nights: Metal story and couldn't wait to see where the writers would take it from there, and I was not disappointed. This was a fantastic read with stunning artwork! (I must point out that it's definitely worth checking out the other Death Metal books to fully enjoy the series)

Disjointed mess: so much missing content that it becomes nonsensical
What's in this book is fun enough: there are a few good speeches and cameos. You even get to see parts of some semi interesting fights. But that's all you get- parts. The book skips huge plot points with no warning or explanation to tge extent a reader has no idea what is going on. For example, in one scene a hero is about to be defeated by a villain whilst two others are seemingly on the verge of death.... and then you turn over the page and the four of them are best friends. No explanation. No clue as to where you can find the missing material (as far as I can tell a lot of it isn't collected anywhere). The whole thing is, as a result, a boring disjointed mess. Art is OK though.

Well, that’s that over with. Next!
“Dark Nights – Death Metal” collects the seven-issue series that brings the Snyderverse to a conclusion. If you like page after page after of superhero fighting, then you’ll like this.If you liked the whole “Metal” business, then you’ll like this – it ties everything up neatly, as if the last 35 years really happened, but so did the previous 45 too, so there. I still want to see how they handle Donna Troy when next she appears though. If you just want the result without having to read page after page after page of superheroes and supervillains fighting, then go and read Young Justice Volume 3. It is funnier too. I gave that 5 stars.I’m giving this book 4 stars as I don’t really like page after page after page of superheroes and supervillains fighting, even if they’re not fighting each other. To be honest, there are some quieter bits in here, but it really is mostly page after page after page of superheroes and supervillains fighting, even if they’re not just fighting each other. It was well-illustrated and reasonably entertaining, even though it was mostly page after page after page of superheroes and supervillains fighting, even if they weren’t just fighting each other.
