Bestever Baby Mat, Pink Bear (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

The pharmacy in my doctors office sells these and I would see them every time I'd go in for a prenatal checkup. For months I would walk by it and think "how cute!" but there was never a price on it and rarely anyone around to ask so I passed. Finally, when my daughter was a couple months old I realized she was never going to learn to roll over if I didn't start putting her down, but having hard wood floors I wanted something softer than a blanket so I decided to see if I could find it online.I couldn't be happier with it, its incredibly soft and cuddly and washes up great. I just take it from room to room and throw it down for her. We even take it traveling with us so she has something familiar to lay on and play with. She's now old enough to roll off of it and doesn't ever stay in one place for long, but its still a "home base" for her and her toys. I'm sure this is something that she will have for a very long time.(Its also great for taking photos of your little one on.)

My daughter is 3 1/2 weeks old and the doctor recommended placing her on her tummy for tummy time. This has worked out great. We lay it in the living room on our carpet and place her on her tummy and although I wish it was a little thicker it works great. For added thickness I would sometimes add another of her thicker blanket under the bear or sometimes place the bear on the  Fisher-Price Rainforest Melodies and Lights Deluxe Gym  for added thickness and stimulation. Under my supervision I've also let my daughter sleep on it and although she doesn't sleep for long periods of time it beats picking her up and moving her.I originally purchased the  Bestever Baby Mat, Frog  to go with her room decor but the frog doesn't feel as plush as the bear. I give it 4 stars because I wish it was thicker but overall it has been a great purchase.

I bought this for my baby girl. It is very soft. When babies are starting off with tummy time I would not recommend using this because their face gets smushed into the pillow which is not safe. She sits on it now at 7 months and I can see her hanging out with it when she gets a little older. My dog decided to have an "accident" on this one night and it washed really well!

My little gal is sitting up but of course she also tips right over sometimes unexpectedly. The plushness helps her from bonking her head on our hardwood floors, it is also really cute. I don't like that it sheds sometimes, not a lot but enough to where I can see fuzz on her hands when she is drooling, other than that I would give it a 5 star...plus its cute!

This product is not very thick. On the picture it looks very plush and thick, but in reality, the edges and the head are thick, and the middle is kind of too thin. It is still very soft and cuddly. It is not very large, the baby must be very small, under 4 months of age to fit the length of the pad. A bit over-priced to my opinion.

If you don't want to buy off of the baby registry and want to get something unique. This baby mat is comfortable for naptimes, great for tummy time and just for lounging around. The one we received as a gift 3 years ago is still being used by my 3 year old for his and his stuffed toys' naptime. Since given to me as a gift I have been sharing the comfort by buying it for friends with new babies. Although it has a fuzzy material, it is not easily pulled out, so it is not a cause for concern.

I just bought this for my friend's new baby girl after seeing it for $50 at a baby boutique (not including tax). I found it here on Amazon for much cheaper and my friend's baby and mommy love it! Its sooooo soft and very very cute. The lamb one is so cute too. It's perfect for babies to lay on instead of the floor. She is thrilled with it, its a very unique item to gift as a baby shower so I'd definitely recommend it. And get it on Amazon, its way cheaper than in the stores!

The product description says this "large" mat will protect baby from floor. For one, the mat isn't large. And it isn't thick, or plush, it's flat. It's about as useful as lying a towel on the floor and letting your baby lay on it. The only plush, thick part about this mat is the head. It's really upsetting, I thought with all the great reviews this would be an awesome Christmas present for my friends baby. I guess not. The picture even shows the mat looking thick, It's not at all... She pretty much uses it as a rug for her babies room, she wont put her child on it. A lot of the fibers come off and get all over the place too. I'm kind of upset as well, since it's from Amazon I can't contact anyone and I never realized this before. So from now on I don't think I'll buy products unless I know I can at least talk to someone about them. This is ridiculous I don't think I'll be buying from Amazon for awhile. Such a disappointment.
