Weak welding
Pretty weak welding even on the highest setting, the nickel strip can be removed easily.

Good value, works well
The Kerpu portable spot welder included a USB-C to USB-A cable, a roll of 0.1mm nickel strip tape (probably nickel-plated steel), and four 4-hole 18650 battery spacers. Battery capacity is claimed to be 7500 mAh. I charged the unit before testing (took about 2.5hrs at 1.5A to reach full charge).There are 11 power steps, and I set it at 6 to start. Using the supplied 0.1mm tape, I held the probes at about a 45-degree angle as another reviewer suggested and pressed only lightly (just enough to ensure proper tape/battery contact). The results were surprisingly good; the tape tore before the weld broke when I pulled on it with a pair of pliers.On the box, it states that the recommended tape thickness range is 0.1 to 0.12mm, but I tried some 0.15mm nickel tape and the results were equally good. I tested tape to tape and tape to battery welds several times and all welds were secure.This device meets my needs (hobbyist/tinkerer) perfectly and at this point, I'm 100% satisfied, both with the price of the unit and its performance.

I have no idea why this gets bad reviews
I was very impressed and happy with the welder. I made a 7s 9p battery pack and a 16p battery pack and lots of continuous welding and had no issues, it worked perfectly. and barely touched one bar of the battery. I am not doing pro work, but for my hobby this is perfect! Remember to charge it fully, angle the electrodes and don't press too hard.

Lo mejor que he comprado
Está soldadora de puntos portátil superó mis espectativas , creí que iba a ser como los otros que había tenido que apenas se alcanzaban a marcar los puntos y quedaba muy débil la soldadura, pero con este producto desde el nivel 4 hace buenos puntos y que decir del nivel 6 que literalmente fusiona la placa de niquel con la batería .Le doy 5 estrellas sin duda alguna.
