Antenna on wrong side for UV5R
Like the UV5R, all my hand-held radios have antennas on the left (when seen from front). This bag is for antennas on the right. This means you either put the radio in "backwards" and can't see the screen/buttons through the colored side or push the antenna in diagonally which puts stress on the antenna joint. Didn't test water resistance since it failed the fit test.It's unfortunate they made these with a textured/colored back since if both sides were clear it would work for any radio. There isn't room for a full VHF whip antenna but a larger body than the UV5R or extended battery would work fine.Otherwise built quality is about as expected for the price. Wasn't looking for something to go diving with, just to better protect radios in heavy rain or river crossings.
