Birchwood Laboratories A-E-R Pre-Moistened Witch Hazel Pads, 80 Count Limited Edition

Went through an extended Labor and Delivery, causing gnarly hemorrhoid. They gave me 2 containers of these at the hospital, and I went through them at a decent rate.At first they did help with the pain/itching, but ended up having to purchase ointment to help with internal hemorrhoid. But where they made a difference was cleaning the affected area without having to take multiple showers a day after a BM. Because of the pain, normal toilet paper couldn't be used effectively to wipe. So these were a must have.Ended up buying 2 more containers. It's been 2 months an I just opened the second one. Have been using in conjunction with Fiber Pills, Doughnut pillow and ointment to help completely alleviate and heal up.

These thin pads did alleviate some of my post-labor pain, for a few hours at a time, after chilling them in the refrigerator. I did not like the smell of them, but I think it is a standard witch hazel smell. I would line up 2 of these on top of a regular/thick pad inside my underwear, and did this for a month after labor. I did find sitz baths - with pure essential oils, witch hazel and epsom salt - to be more effective in pain alleviation though.

I bought these because these were the exact ones that they gave me to use in the hospital after giving birth. They are small round thin pieces with witch hazel already in them. They did the trick and were very soothing to help with healing. They lasted a while because there are a lot in the package. Be sure to peel them apart sometimes you end up using more than one by mistake at a time.

Personally I have had 3 kids and after baby number one I had to have these with baby number two and three. I had them given to me in the hospital with baby number one and baby number two. I had a home birth with baby number three. I bought these and had them in my birth kit ready for the big day. They don’t burn, and they work well. They are a little difficult to separate because they’re not that thick. They aren’t like toilet paper they’re a type of woven material where it takes a lot to rip them. I used them for postpartum care so they work well for cleaning blood. TMI haha We’re adults we know what happens when babies are born.

It says you'll receive 80 count (2 containers of 40) but I only received 40 pads (one container)I ordered these pads because they are the ones I got in the hospital and they been working amazing and I've been going through them quite fast so I thought 80 would be perfect but they didn't deliver the 80 promised.Edit: I asked for a refund because I paid for 80 and only got 40 and they refunded me and let me keep the 40. So I opened the pack of 40 I got and they were nothing like the ones I had in the hospital (even though they are the exact same ones the hospital provided me). They were mostly dried out and SUPER thin to the point of falling apart when I tried to separate one pad from the group. I'm really disappointed because the ones I got at the hospital helped me so much.

These were given to me at the hospital when I had my baby by one of the nurses (hospital supply) to insert on a pad. They gave me so much relief from the burning caused by child birth. By the time I was discharged to go home I only had enough to last me a week, so I decided to purchase some more. You can use these for burns, itching and other medical needs. They have a cool soothing surface on both sides, I couldn’t have asked for a better over the counter first aid pad.

Had a 2nd degree tear from labor and was given this by the hospital. I also already purchased this before labor based on the reviews. These wipes are great. I place them on top of my post partum pads and they feel so refreshing and help to ease the soreness when used with my benzocaine spray. Helped a lot with those sleepless nights when I had to be up every other hour to feed my newborn. Did not want to deal with sore down under at the same time. I'm glad I purchased this.

So a few days ago I had a stint put in because I am passing a few kidney stones. I was having pain after the surgery going to the bathroom. The doctor gave these to me an it helped tremendously. This isnt something I normally talk open about but I fell very strongly about this product I am willing to share. I think it could be useful for any urinary pain. But with any product you might want to check with your own doctor
