Absolutely loved everything about this dress! Needed something that would come quick and require little to no alteration. True fit. Stretchy (XL). Very easy and elegant.

I was hoping for a more fitted fit to the dress and it was a bit bigger than anticipated. I'm a size 18. TOTALLY OKAY WITH ME! It is SUPER COMFY and so cute! At the party I fell in the dress trying to set up a camera with a timer and the dress rolled with it. I bought a petticoat to go under it and it really made the outfit (was a Clue party). First off, I hardly ever take the time to review things and I truly purchase from Amazon ALL the time. But I just have to comment on this dress because it was such a welcome, positive surprise. I’m always skeptical on sizing when I purchase clothes that are Made in China, which is very rare. In American sizing I wear a size 6...I’m 5’ 7+” tall and about 125-130 pounds. I knew that I was only going to wear this dress once for a 50’s party that I’m invited to so I wasn’t too worried about having a perfect fit...a little too big was much better than too small. (I didn’t want to have to return and reorder.) So, according to their included sizing chart, I ordered a Large. I probably could have gotten a Medium but I always have to be aware of the chest size. The Large fits about perfect on the top and I’m afraid the Medium would have been too snug in the bust area. However the fabric does stretch and give a bit. Speaking of the fabric, it is Very nice. Not the normal cheapy, ravely stuff I was expecting. All the seams are double stitched and finished, with an invisible zipper. The color I got says pink and it is a beautiful blush pink color, not like a light pink carnation color. (It’s mostly like the color in the middle photo.) I will be adding my own full, tulle slips underneath to finish the look. The back neck area looks adorable with the tied neckline and not too low in the back so my bra strap does not show. It does come pretty wrinkled but I’m assuming that my Steamer will remedy that problem. If not I will take it to the Dry Cleaners to press only. I noticed that the care instruction states: Hand Wash Only and Low Iron but like I said earlier, I’ll only be wearing it once. If they had anything else I was interested in I wouldn't hesitate to order from Gowntown again for I now know the quality in stitching and fabric, it provides. It also came Very quickly with my Amazon Prime...not the normal three week+ turn around when you order things from China.

This is the third dress I've ordered from this seller and won't be the last. Their dresses are incredibly comfortable and gorgeous. Honestly, the only way they could make their dresses better is if they made them with pockets as well! This dress does have some stretch to it and is incredibly flattering. I'm 5'3" and 150 lbs and got a size large and it fits just right. I would like it if it was a little looser in the waist as if I went up to an XL it would be way too baggy in the bust as my bust is 38B. If you're on the edge about purchasing this dress, go ahead and buy it!

These GownTown dresses are so beautiful! I bought several in different colors and get tons of compliments when I wear them to work. They have some stretch so you may actually be your American size and not Asian size. They are also machine washable and easy to maintain. I highly recommend a petticoat for added fullness but you can wear without. I am 5 feet tall and the dress goes mid shin on me. The only mild complaint is the bow tie on the back- the amount of material for the bow is very long so you can get this huge bow behind your neck that could irritate you. If you are handy you could likely cut the length and sew it, but its nothing something I wish to alter. I just flop it outside of any sweater I am wearing and its very beautiful. You cannot go wrong with these dresses. I got sea green, royal blue, black, and pink which I am waiting for Spring to wear

The fabric is of a nice thickness and its wonderfully stretchy and form fitting! I'm usually an XS but had to get a small because they dont carry my size. It fits well but would work a little better for me if I had a bigger chest. as an xs with a smaller bust, the neckline is just slightly loose. Made a perfect Alice costume.
