One of my absolute fav reads this year

L. Steele's latest book Mafia King (Arranged Marriages 1) takes us into , yes, you guessed it, Mafia territory and into the dark side of romance!If you're familiar with her books , then you are already aware of the connection of the Big Billionaire series and the Mafia.This is the first in the story of Michael and Karma (Summer's younger sister).Expecting the usual hot and mega steamy scenes, well, this book ramps it up even further into the dark depths of both Michael and Karma.Michael Byron Domenico Sovrano , being the Capo of his Clan, trying to exact revenge, is immediately drawn into the illusive and mysterious Karma.After he kidnaps her , immediately the tension is rising and the chemistry boiling over!Karma, hiding her true darkness, feels an immediate tug towards the growly and extremely Alpha Michael.Even though he kidnaps her, she cannot ignore the attraction.For someone Karma's age, she's going toe to toe with Michael, something not to be taken on lightly!In true style, L. Steele has crafted a masterpiece of 2 dark souls who find themselves drawn to each other and their struggles to come to terms with their feelings for each other end exploring the darker side of each other.The age gap in this book really does not distract at all from this great book! It actually enhances it!The characters are very well developed, extremely interesting and have a depth that needs further exploring!From the first line to the cliffhanger at the end, this book had me on the edge of a knife, or 2. It's really well written and the storyline keeps you wanting for more!Cannot wait to find out more about Michael's siblings and the unfolding story!Well done!!!!

Absolutely love this story line and I've got to admit, that I'm half in love with Mika too!! Why is it that men like him or the Seven truly exist!! Not the crime side of things and definitely not the Mafia or the Bratva!! That part of never be interested in!! I am not a submissive at all and could never imagine a man to be able to do what these alphahole's do with their women, but damn if the idea of a man attempting to do this to me, well that's why I'd love to meet some one like Mika and the fun of watching him fail to rope me in lol!! These books are so steamy, but hell if they don't make me swoon lmao!! I love the story line and how it all entwines with the seven!! Get this book and I promise that you won't put it down until you've read every single page!! So.....what are you waiting for???

He sees her in his dreams, he kidnaps her and marries her. He thinks he can use her and let her go (or kill her) life and power stuggles get in the way. Has she killed him -- what will Luca do with/to her--- can't wait to find out what happens next !! What a cliffhanger -- loved 😍 it

This is the following on series from the big bad billionaire books from L Steel. That series I enjoyed, but struggling with this trope. Never been a fan, but after meeting Karma in the beginning with sister Summer, then her arriving at Baron’s wedding l was interested to find out her story. Ends on a cliffhanger, so already annoyed and downloading the next in line.

Having just finished reading the Billionaire series I moved straight onto Mafia Heir and Mafia King. I’m glad I’d read the Billionaire books as there are references to them in Mafia King and we are also introduced to Karma and Michael in that series. These are two strong characters who harbour dark desires within themselves and prove to be well suited and more than a match for each other! The “push and pull” between them makes for a great read. They are constantly trying to out manoeuvre each other and some of their actions may seem a little shocking at times. I probably shouldn’t like Micheal with his ruthless personality but, by the end of the book, I was definitely on his side!With a few twists along the way , I found it difficult to put this book down. This book ends with a cliff hanger so I’m now impatiently waiting for Mafia Queen!

The Capo goes to kill a young woman, whose father had betrayed them. Only problem is he was smitten first time he say her, so he kidnapped her and married her. An adult book but and exciting one to read.

I enjoyed this however I kept getting distracted by the many grammar mistakes. I did really enjoy the storyline though
