Don't do it!
I've been using Bose for over a decade, I've got two of the L1 compacts, two S1's, the L1 model 2 with the B2 sub, the T1 tone match, not to mention the Home stuff, computer speakers, TV sound bar, so yeah, I'm a Bose guy. I've been a professional working musician for twenty years, gigging on average 4-5 nights a week. and all the Bose stuff has held up, they can really take a beating. but if you're a Bose guy like me, then you'll understand how frustrating it's been that they've never given us proper protection for our gear, especially all of the sub speakers!!! aaaagh! well, this.... system bag?... just adds to the frustration, it's awkward, difficult, bulky, and it's crazy how much heavier the system feels in this (padded bag), once again Bose has dropped the ball, very disappointing. it just doesn't work, it's a hassle. and the price? really? but that's Bose for ya. spend the extra money and buy some flight cases for your gear, there are places that build them custom, some even have them on hand. I did, and it pays for itself. it's definitely worth it for a working musician. so, it's a big NO for me. save your money, put towards flight cases.

L1 Pro8 fits like a glove, but lacking a bit
I like that the bag is well made, very sturdy and will certainly last. Padding is adequate but by no means generous. The zippers are quite heavy duty, and the strap is strong and well attached. As others have mentioned, the price is high for what you get. No storage pocket for any cables - including the power cord. Not sold on the shoulder strap yet, because it crosses the area where the subwoofer is loaded, and always seems to be in the way. Loading that beast isn’t easy either, as the bottom of the bag has no framing to hold the shape of the bag. It always seems to crumple while loading, requiring one to bend down and pull it up while simultaneously lifting the speaker with the other hand. I’m a big guy and can do it at 55, but perhaps in a few years it will be too much. This I hadn’t expected, and it’s more troublesome than it sounds. I knew most of this when I bought the bag, and probably should have had a custom case made for the speaker instead. That would have been slightly cheaper, and much more practical to use. I was in a hurry, though, so I went with something I knew would work. If I had it to do over, I would choose differently.

Heavy, Heavy, Heavy...
The bag itself is very nice. It should be a 5 star. The load of the bass unit and the 2 verticals is a but much though. We have 2 L1 Pro 8's The other bass unit lives in a Tuki cover and spreads the weight over 2 pieces. In my band we all prefer moving the separate bags if there are stairs involved.

A great bag that's well built, had the bag been fitted with wheels like the one for the Bose L1 Pro16 it would have a 5 stars rating and been perfect for the job.
