Great winch for the money
The media could not be loaded. Great winch for the money. Had mine for about 4 years, older orange model 13k winch. Works like a charm, probably used it 30 times since installed. Great product would recommend to anyone looking needing a quality winch for under $400. Follow the instructions for care and maintenance and the winch will last a long time. Pair it up with a DIY Move bumper and you got yourself a nice $1000 HD bumper that works and looks great. I’ve had it maxed just about pulling the bumper off the truck and hasn’t failed yet. In the video is a truck that has a flat steer and RR drives locked up and been sitting for 5+ years and pulls it out like it should. Winch is made in China so that’s a bummer but has a great customer group based in Australia and US. Comes with all the hardware, cordless remote that works good from 80+ feet and a hard wired controller I haven’t used yet. Cordless remote is awesome on the cold days helping a citizen in the ditch when it’s iced outside. Hook up and sit in the truck and work the witch with cordless remote. Great budget winch that works and will continue to recover you as well as others in time of need, no better feeling and to have a the tools needed at any given time when driving off road or even down the highway then look no further than Xbull products, get you a recovery kit as well, you need a few shackles, a snatch block, and tree saver strap.

A fairly good winch with a worthless warranty
I have exclusively used Xbull for the last 5 years for 13k pound winches mounted to my trailers to pull dead vehicles. The winches themselves seem to perform as well as any brand name model. The only problem is that if the winch fails, they want you to jump through fiery hoops to prove the problem. I kept a spare new winch in the box in case anything should happen. That way I wouldn't have a service vehicle down for more than a couple hours. The first one failed after 7 months use. I immediately installed the replacement I had and requested warranty. They wouldn't do anything warranty related unless I reinstalled the defective winch to video it not working properly. Nevermind I told them exactly what was wrong with it, they wouldn't honor the warranty without a video. A great product with a sorry warranty doesn't leave you with a great experience. It leaves you thinking you should have spent a few dollars more and gone with a reputable company that honors the warranty they give. I have other Xbull winches that also have issues that failed during the warranty period but I don't have time to play games to get the warranty they give with the product. (3 of them have had their remotes fail in under a year) If you don't believe or trust your customers, then you probably shouldn't be selling a product. After this experience, I have removed and sold my Xbull products and replaced them with another brand. It's a real shame to, as Xbull seemed to have filled a void left by the highly overpriced big name brands.
