A2 Lino without dents or blemishes, delivered swiftly
I need a polished lino product with zeroImperfections. That’s what I got and considering the often hyper real nature of my work, it’s better value here than anywhere else. When you normally order A2 size anywhere else, there’s normally always a dent. Not here.Order with confidence.

Great for precision carving. Much prefer to so-called 'easy carve'
I am a hobby lino artist, and have tried some of the newer easy carve lino blocks, but I much prefer this traditional lino block. With the right carving tools (i use pfeil), I feel it's actually easier to carve, particularly because you can snap bits off if you plan the carving right. So, for example, if you want to create a star shape with a v-shape carving tool, it will snap off in a v (4 v's making a nice neat star). Or if you want to carve very thin lines, it's easier on this. I find it get much more precision. It is also easier to stain before carving, as it's a nice pale grey colour. I usually sand mine down, then transfer my design using tracing paper, then go over the design in biro, then stain with a red watercolour (it works for me!), then carve. I honestly think this lino is beautiful to carve!

Good
Worth getting. I don’t know why Lino blocks are so expensive but these seem to be the cheapest. They are still expensive but not as bad as the soft cut type. I find this preferable personally, although I use whatever is cheapest It is stiff but again , I am not sure why any one wants their lino to be floppy . This lino is carveable and I have it on repeat order now at least until I can get it cheaper elsewhere.

Good quality lino for print makers
I'm a printmaker & prefer this classic lino style for carving & printing rather than the soft lino type. It gives a better finish. Arrived safely, no scratches and am looking forward to printing with it.

Tough and crumbly
These lino sheets are very tough to cut and they crumble easily, so areas of fine detail occasionally break away. May be suitable for large simple designs but not for anything detailed. I won't be using these.
