Vogue Knitting: Shawls & Wraps 2

I never have been crazy about graphed patterns. I like this issue because it has written as well as graphs so you can choose.

Very poorly edited. I tried to return it to the publisher but they refused. The correct gauge swatch to use are not properly identified.

I bought this book sight unseen because I missed out on the first volume of this series. And it delivers as vogue always does. I want to make many of these wraps and it has the benefit of inspiringly goad me on as a Vogue knitter. Could I possibly complete the "Winged Double-Knit Shawl" by Tania Richters? Sorry not to mention other artists they are all incredible. And what I don't make a shawl a blanket would do. This book is gorgeous and if I could get the "Shawls and Wraps 1" I would in a heartbeat.

Lovely projects, but not for the beginner. Start with easier lace. I am an advanced knitter, and this is not the repetitive zen of knitting. Have to stay focused! Best after the coffee kicks in.

beautiful book and lots of very complex patterns...not for the beginner

I didn't care for the patterns in this book. This would be a good book if you like to knit with the worsted weight yarn and if you like very heavy items. I was looking more for something with lightweight shawls.

I was hoping that this book contained more shawls from Vogue that I hadn't seen before, but as far as I can tell, they have all appeared in "Vogue Knitting" magazine in the last few years. On the positive side, I don't have to go through all my back editions of the magazine to find my favorite patterns when I finally have time to knit them. So if you want to knit some lovely shawls and don't have all of the back editions of "Vogue Knitting," you'll love this book.

This is a wonderful addition to my library! A delightful book with a wonderful range of patterns. It is going to be useful for Xmas.

haven't made anything yet, too many ufo, but am loving the patterns not all of them but that is the usual case when you buy a book and not individual pattern that you pick yourself

My sister is amazing when it comes to knitting, now if I can only get her to knit my poor puppy a sweater. Anyways, she loves the book and that is all that matters. Super fast, well wrapped and subtle hints. Thank you.

schwierig zu entscheiden, welches Modell man zuerst stricken soll, viele aufwändige aber luxuriöse Schals, Tücher etc. Englisch sollte man kann gut können

Buch enthält an sich schöne Strickmotive, allerdings ist für mich weniger dabei als gedacht.Einzig das Covermodell hat es in die nähere Strickauswhl geschafft. Schade.

Beautiful book, lots of lovely patterns. Instructions are what you would expect from a Vogue publication. Just nice to look at even if you haven't decided which one of the designs you want to knit.
