Melissa & DougWooden Town Play Set With Storage Tray (32 pcs)

We purchased this as a birthday gift for our son. He loves little houses, cars, anything that makes a "town" he can play with. He took one look at this and squealed with delight, then begged us to HURRY and open it! The buildings are just right for his little hands. I'm impressed with the quality of the pieces. They're heavy, but not too much, stand up exactly as they should, and have nice attention to detail. The painting looks like it will last a very long time, even with hard play.He's played with them every day for the past month, so it's safe to say these are a hit!

This set is really cute and substantial. Will use with a wooden train tracks to create a little town.

This amped up the level of our blocks play area drastically! I also added little peg dolls, which are a perfect size match to this block set. The kids absolutely love them and I've had to break up more than a few little squabbles over the pieces because I have some kids who REALLY want to play with all the pieces and build a true city.In this newer generation, kids are coming in lacking the ability to play imaginatively. We are becoming a HIGHLY visual society, and this really helps those kids with that visual need. These are especially great for my kiddos with AU, for whom imaginative play comes with great difficulty.

Got this to go on a play mat rug that we purchased for our 3-year-old grandson. He plays with it every day. Abstract enough that it encourages imaginative play, and I can see him playing with this set-up for a long time to come. And super sturdy good quality, as all Melissa and Doug toys seem to be.

Melissa & Doug products are the best. They are wooden not plastic and allow children to expand their imagination.

Purchased this for our 6 year old grandson. He had asked for buildings to go with his wooden train set.The set had over 30 pieces including buildings, trees and traffic signs. Did not realize that he already had a Melissa and Doug rug that was exactly shown on the box with all the pieces in place on the rug. He had a great time setting his buildings, etc on his rug!

The images do not appear on the back but if you set up your town with that in mind, it will work. It is a colorful set and perfect with train or street scenario.

My son loves his little his little town. Carpet and cars i bought separately from different brands. My only complaint is that the buildings and signs are only printed on one side. As seen in my picture my son likes them all facing the same way.

It's sturdy..bright colors..larger font for building titles. They will love and learn from this toy. AMAZING QUALITY🥰
