Great amount of light for a small lamp, I use it in a closet.

I wanted something small to pack with me during camping trips. After researching and comparing different lamps on the market, I came across the “Yapping Multifuctional Battery Operated Mini Lamp with Magnet and hook for Outdoor Tent, Home, and Emergency.” It seemed like a pretty great option for me so I decided to give it a try.When the lamp arrived, I was surprised by just how small it actually is. The lamp looks maybe around five inches in the product photos, but it is actually only a bit larger than three inches. It's also very light weight and easy to pack in a bag. I was initially concerned that, because of its small size, the lamp would not provide me with enough illumination, but it is more than adequate in that respect. As it turns out, its compact size is actually a plus. It makes the lamp easier to store and to carry around with me.This lamp takes two AA batteries to run. They are not included with the item, but they are widely available in stores, and they seem to last a while in the lamp before going out. I think my batteries lasted for about eight hours of continuous use, which is certainly enough to get me through the night. The lamp is easy to hang and it looks really cute. I recently bought the Yaping Portable Tent Camping Lantern Bright Battery Powered Night Flashlight Lamp For Outdoor Hiking Indoor Outage Emergency because we're entering hurricane season, and you can never have enough emergency lights around here. This is a very simple light with not a lot of fancy features, but it does a good job of illumination.The Yaping Portable Tent Camping Lantern is very cute to look at. The heavy duty plastic construction means you'll get years of use from the light, and the colors are cheery: white, red, and black. It has a milky light cap, so it puts off nice light without making you squint from the brightness of the LED source. The lantern runs on three AA batteries, and the 5 LEDs can produce up to a hundred thousand hours of light. The cap has both a hanging handle and a magnet, so if you can't use the included hanging hook where you happen to be, you can stick the light to a metal surface. The magnet is strong enough to keep the light from sliding down. Or alternatively, you can flip it upside down and use it as a table lantern. The power push-button gives you three modes: bright, dim, and SOS flashing. You have to cycle through the modes to turn off the light.I'm very happy with the lantern, and I know it will be very useful to me and my family.
