I just used four wood screws and put it into a stud on my wall. Works great.

They work but do not rotate a full 180, also do not go completely flat depending on how they are mounted. Strong enough to hold up my neewer rgb660pro lights. For the price they work..

Great mount

My small studio has exposed roof trusses so I mounted the arm on plywood which spans between the bottom members of the trusses and can easily be moved. The arm is perfect for this and the adjustment length is just right for my set up. Is holds the light perfectly, flashpoint ad600 pro. I do use a steel tether cable forcsafely

I purchased 5 of these. I have shown all employees how to be gentle with them, to not over tighten any parts. 1 unit malfunctioned within 2 weeks of purchase. The company sent an entire replacement, since they dont have individual parts. Before the replacement arrived, 2 more units failed. Company said they would send replacements for those as well, but never did. Now, All 5 units have failed. All in the same location, due to cheap hardware being used.

So glad my ring light is put of the way!!! I love it on the wall beter
