Very cool little game. We bought it for camping, where the uneven terrain makes it fun and more challenging than a flat lawn would. And while the rules are on the bag, and pretty simple - the game easily lends itself to rule mods. We'd thought about bocce, but these are so much lighter, better for smaller hands, the balls float (handy for beach Murbles), and the sturdy bag makes for easy portability. This isn't an economy priced game, and I agree with the other reviewer that suggested it's a better deal to buy the larger sets. But I do love that it's a family owned company, made in America, with recycled plastic; three reasons I was willing to part with a few extra bucks. Plus, it's fun to say "Murbles"!

This set of three balls (made in the USA) is very sturdy. The bag keeps them all together, and the clincher for me was that the rules are printed on the bag.These are best played with outdoors. They are heavy, so players need to be old enough to understand the rules. (I.e., these balls really hurt if they hit you with any force.)However, for a set of three balls, they are quite pricey. If I were buying another set, I would get one of the larger ones. (They come in sets of five, seven, nine, etc.) Not much difference in price, and the larger set allows for more players.

It is a great family game. My 5 and 8 year old grandchildren love playing with their parents. Plus it gets them active and outdoors.
